India’s electric delivery ecosystem is entering a new phase as Bounce deepens its logistics ambitions through a strategic partnership with the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce. The collaboration brings Bounce Task, the company’s logistics platform, onto ONDC’s Open Delivery Protocol, giving merchants simpler access to electric last-mile services. Now, Bounce Partners With ONDC to connect businesses, delivery executives, and fleet operators through open digital infrastructure.

The move is expected to improve rider utilization, accelerate fulfillment, and reduce fragmented technology integrations, while supporting cleaner deliveries across major Indian cities and, eventually, a much wider national commerce network.

Bounce has integrated Bounce Task with ONDC’s Open Delivery Protocol, enabling merchants to access its electric delivery fleet through one connection. The partnership supports faster fulfillment and more efficient fleet utilization across key Indian markets.

How the Open Delivery Integration Works

Bounce will make its logistics operations available through Bounce Task. Instead of developing systems for logistics companies, merchants can discover and use multiple delivery providers through a single ONDC integration.

The platform uses First-In-First-Out order matching and intelligent rider allocation to allocate orders. ONDC says FIFO-based matching is helping facilitate deliveries in under 15 minutes while improving rider productivity.

Why the Partnership Matters

Bounce Partners With ONDC as open logistics infrastructure becomes increasingly important for digital commerce. ONDC’s logistics ecosystem already includes more than 50 hyperlocal logistics service providers and 30 small fleet operators across over 150 cities, serving more than 80,000 merchants and brands.

Key numbers at a glance:
  • More than 12,000 delivery executives supported by Bounce
  • Operations across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and NCR
  • Over 80,000 merchants connected to ONDC logistics
  • Annual capacity of 200,000 electric scooters at Bhiwadi
  • Group-level profitability achieved in March 2026

Benefits for Riders and Merchants

Bounce follows a vertically integrated manufacturer-to-gig-worker model. It manufactures and leases electric scooters to delivery partners with quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart. Through the Bounce Task, riders can access delivery opportunities, while merchants gain an EV-led option for last-mile fulfillment.

Bounce CEO Vivekananda Hallekere said open commerce rails can break down closed “walled gardens” that restrict riders to one ecosystem. As Bounce Partners With ONDC, riders could improve earnings through broader demand, while higher vehicle utilization may strengthen the economics of electric delivery fleets.

Manufacturing Strength and Financial Recovery

The expansion is backed by Bounce’s Bhiwadi manufacturing facility, which can produce 200,000 electric scooters annually. The company reached group-level profitability in March 2026.

Around six months earlier, Bounce raised $5 million from long-time investors B Capital and Accel. The funding, profitability milestone, and ONDC integration together indicate a notable recovery following pandemic-era changes to its business model.

What Comes Next?

Bounce Partners With ONDC to create a scalable link between EV manufacturing, fleet management, and open digital commerce. If expanded beyond its four current regions, the model could help smaller businesses access dependable electric logistics, give gig workers greater flexibility, and accelerate cleaner last-mile delivery across India.
