The exclusive Solterra Sinpro EV Partnership will bring advanced electric motors, motor controllers, and DC-DC converters to Indian vehicle manufacturers and mobility companies. By combining Sinpro’s power-electronics expertise with Solterra’s local distribution, engineering, and electrification capabilities, the companies aim to support faster integration of reliable powertrain systems across EV segments.
The agreement also arrives as Solterra expands its domestic research and manufacturing footprint, strengthening its ability to adapt global technology to Indian operating conditions, OEM requirements, and mobility applications nationwide.
The Solterra Sinpro EV Partnership makes Solterra the exclusive Indian distributor of Sinpro’s EV motors, controllers, and DC-DC converters. It will support Indian OEMs and mobility providers through component supply, engineering integration, and local adaptation.
What the Exclusive Agreement Covers
Under the agreement, Solterra will become the gateway for Sinpro’s EV powertrain products in India. The portfolio will serve vehicle manufacturers, mobility businesses, and companies developing electrified transport solutions.

Bengaluru R&D Centre to Support Localization
Solterra will inaugurate an R&D facility in Bengaluru on September 18, 2026. The office will support product development, engineering, testing, and adaptation for Indian requirements. It will also serve as a collaboration base for OEMs and technology partners.
The Solterra Sinpro EV Partnership is complemented by Solterra’s manufacturing operations in Chennai and Bengaluru. This domestic footprint could help the company offer stronger technical support while shortening the path from component evaluation to vehicle integration.
