In a significant move toward sustainable corporate transportation, RouteMatic partners with Green SM through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deploy electric vehicles (EVs) for employee transportation services across India. The agreement was formalised during Green SM’s official launch event in New Delhi and aims to support enterprises in achieving their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals through cleaner mobility solutions.
EV Fleet Integration for Corporate Commuting
As part of the collaboration, RouteMatic partners with Green SM to integrate Green SM’s all-electric transportation network into its existing corporate mobility platform. The rollout will primarily feature the “Ride 5 Star” service, powered by the VinFast Limo Green seven-seater electric SUV. The partnership combines Green SM’s global expertise in electric fleet operations with RouteMatic’s AI-driven route optimization and fleet management technology.
Focus on Major Business Hubs
The initiative is designed to serve enterprises, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and organisations operating round-the-clock employee shifts. Currently active in more than 24 Indian cities, RouteMatic serves over 400 enterprise clients and approximately 350,000 monthly users. Under the new partnership, RouteMatic partners with Green SM to expand EV-based employee transportation across key business centers, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
Supporting India’s Net-Zero Goals
The collaboration highlights the growing role of electric mobility in reducing transportation emissions. Previous EV deployments by RouteMatic in Bengaluru and Pune, involving more than 400 electric vehicles, helped save nearly 15.7 lakh litres of fuel annually. With Green SM bringing operational experience from Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines, the partnership is expected to strengthen India’s transition toward sustainable transportation.
