Kehua EV Charging Modules Launch With 80kW VPFC and SiC Power Tech

Shenzhen Kehua has introduced its next-generation 40kW power module and 80kW VPFC high-power module at EV TREND KOREA 2026 in Seoul. The new hardware targets rapidly growing demand from 800V electric vehicle platforms, public charging networks, commercial fleets, highway corridors, and megawatt-scale charging hubs. Built around advanced Silicon Carbide technology, the Kehua EV Charging Modules are designed to reduce electricity losses, improve power density, and deliver dependable performance across demanding charging environments.

Upgraded 40kW Module Improves Charging Efficiency

Developed as a core power-conversion unit for public and commercial DC fast chargers, Kehua’s upgraded 40kW module achieves peak efficiency of up to 97.5 percent and weighted charging efficiency of 97 percent. These figures can help charging operators reduce conversion losses and use electricity more effectively.

The module is approximately 7.5 percent smaller than its predecessor, providing greater power density and allowing manufacturers to create more flexible charging-system layouts.

Kehua has also reduced standby consumption from 7.5W to zero. With zero reactive power consumption during standby, the module minimizes avoidable energy waste when chargers are not actively serving vehicles.

80kW VPFC Module Targets Megawatt Charging

The new 80kW module is engineered for ultra-fast charging stations, fleet depots, and future megawatt charging applications. High-voltage SiC components help it deliver 97.5 percent peak efficiency and 97 percent weighted efficiency.

Integrated Voltage Power Factor Correction technology improves grid power quality and supports more stable station operation. Like the 40kW version, it offers zero-watt standby and zero reactive power consumption.

The Kehua EV Charging Modules are also prepared for extreme climates. The 80kW unit operates between minus 40°C and 75°C while maintaining full-power output at temperatures up to 55°C without derating.

Reliability Meets Global Standards

Dual-side potting protects against dust and moisture, while operating noise can remain as low as 55dB. Compliance with EMC Class B and IEC 61851-23:2023 strengthens its suitability for international charging projects.

The Kehua EV Charging Modules can scale within Kehua’s 480kW and 800kW distributed charging systems. They also integrate with photovoltaic, energy-storage, and charging microgrids, helping operators combine renewable generation with dependable EV infrastructure.
