India’s commercial electric mobility sector is expanding across school transportation, logistics, intercity passenger travel, and heavy-duty freight. The latest DRIVN EV Partnerships demonstrate how leasing, financing, vehicle technology, and fleet operations can work together to accelerate adoption without requiring businesses to purchase vehicles outright.
Electric Buses for Schools and Businesses
DRIVN’s collaboration with JULEH Mobility covers the lease of 50 electric buses for school and corporate transportation. Deployment begins with eight Eicher electric buses for Vasant Valley School in Delhi. JULEH Mobility will operate the transportation platform, while DRIVN will provide leasing support. The fleet is expected to scale to all 50 buses.
Heavy-Duty Electric Trucks for Logistics
The partnership with AVG Logistics Limited targets the deployment of up to 100 heavy-duty electric trucks. It starts with 30 vehicles operating under a long-term logistics contract, giving the fleet a defined use from the outset.
This agreement strengthens DRIVN’s position in electric truck leasing while helping AVG Logistics introduce cleaner vehicles across its network. It shows how long-term leasing can reduce the ownership burden for logistics companies adopting electric fleets.

Technology, Operations and Financing Combined
Another major collaboration connects DRIVN, FLYTTA GREEN, and IPLTech Electric, part of the Murugappa Group. The programme begins with 15 Montra Electric Rhino trucks, with additional deployments planned.
IPLTech supplies electric vehicle technology, FLYTTA GREEN contributes fleet and logistics expertise, and DRIVN delivers financing and leasing support. This integrated structure makes the initiative strategically important in electric freight.
100 Electric Coaches for Intercity Routes
DRIVN is working with Prasanna Purple Mobility Solutions to deploy the first 100 electric intercity coaches. Long-distance passenger services require careful charging, route planning, vehicle utilization, and schedule management, making specialized fleet support important.
The collaboration expands DRIVN’s footprint beyond school buses and freight trucks into scheduled intercity passenger transportation. It supports cleaner travel on longer routes where commercial electrification remains at an early stage.
Why These Partnerships Matter
The DRIVN EV Partnerships connect manufacturers, operators, logistics companies, and financial solutions across multiple transport categories. They provide businesses with a practical route to electrification while reducing dependence on direct ownership and large upfront investments.
Overall, DRIVN EV Partnerships show that India’s commercial EV transition will depend on coordinated deployment models. By combining technology, financing, leasing, and operational expertise, these collaborations could accelerate scalable electric mobility across passenger transport and freight nationwide over the coming years.
