AcBel Polytech is set to showcase its latest electric vehicle (EV) power conversion and charging technologies at Power2Drive Europe 2026, taking place from 23–25 June at Messe München, Germany. The company’s participation marks the official German debut of the Acbel-ChargePoint EV charging solution, developed through a strategic partnership with ChargePoint to support the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure across Europe.
The launch represents an important step in AcBel’s European expansion strategy and builds on a collaboration established in early 2024 between AcBel, Kinpo Group, and ChargePoint. The partnership combines ChargePoint’s extensive expertise in charging networks with AcBel’s advanced power electronics design and manufacturing capabilities.

New EV Charging Infrastructure for Europe
The centerpiece of the exhibition is the Acbel-ChargePoint EV charging solution, designed to serve Europe’s rapidly expanding public and fleet charging markets. As EV adoption continues to accelerate, the need for reliable and scalable charging infrastructure has become a key priority for governments, businesses, and automakers.
According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), electric vehicle sales in Europe reached approximately 4.2 million units in 2025, accounting for nearly one in three new vehicles sold. During the same period, around 260,000 new public charging points were installed, representing a 20% year-on-year increase and highlighting the region’s ongoing investment in EV infrastructure.
Advanced Power Conversion Technologies on Display
In addition to the Acbel-ChargePoint EV charging solution, AcBel will present several advanced power conversion products for next-generation electric vehicles.
Among the highlights is a 400V/800V 2-in-1 Combo series that integrates an 11 kW on-board charger, vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, and a DC/DC converter into a single compact system.
The company will also showcase an 800V-to-48V/12V dual-output 6 kW DC/DC converter and a 400V-to-12V 3 kW converter. These solutions are engineered to meet ISO 26262 automotive functional safety standards, ensuring high levels of reliability and performance in modern EV platforms.
Focus on Safety, Security, and Future Growth
AcBel has confirmed that selected products are expected to achieve ISO 21434 cybersecurity certification during the third quarter of 2026, strengthening protection against emerging automotive cyber threats.
Commenting on the company’s strategy, Sven Lee, Vice-President of Power and Energy Solutions Business at AcBel, stated that Europe remains one of the world’s most important markets for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. He noted that collaborations with automakers in the United States and Japan, along with leading charging infrastructure providers, have helped establish a strong foundation for the Acbel-ChargePoint EV charging solution and AcBel’s broader EV business growth.
The company will exhibit its latest technologies at Hall C6, Booth 270, where visitors can explore the future of EV charging and power conversion solutions.
