Youdha Unveils Electric Garbage Van as part of its commitment to advancing sustainable mobility and modern waste management solutions in India. The commercial EV brand, owned by Zuperia Auto (formerly Lohia Auto), has launched the zero-emission vehicle to support municipalities, sanitation agencies, and private waste collection operators seeking cleaner and more cost-effective transportation alternatives.
The launch comes at a time when India is accelerating its transition toward electric mobility, particularly in municipal and utility operations. The newly launched electric garbage van has been specifically designed for door-to-door waste collection in urban and semi-urban areas. It is suitable for handling both dry and wet waste, helping local authorities improve sanitation services while reducing environmental impact.
The vehicle features a specialized garbage box measuring 2300 × 1481 × 1420 mm, offering ample space for waste collection. With a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 1,200 kg and a payload capacity of 700 kg, it is capable of meeting the daily operational requirements of municipal waste management fleets.
