Focus on High-Efficiency and Localized EV Solutions

Under the agreement, LTEPS Partners with EVR Motors to industrialize next-generation traction motor solutions designed for Indian operating conditions. The motors are expected to offer high efficiency, compact design, and lower dependence on rare-earth materials, making them both sustainable and cost-effective.

The solutions will cater to a wide range of vehicle categories, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles. This will help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) meet evolving performance, localization, and cost requirements.

Manufacturing Hub in Coimbatore

The traction motors are proposed to be manufactured at LTEPS’s advanced facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Combined with indigenously designed Motor Control Units (MCUs), the company plans to offer a complete EV drivetrain solution to customers.

Speaking on the partnership, LTEPS emphasized its commitment to developing indigenous high-performance technologies for India’s clean mobility future. EVR Motors highlighted that the collaboration would help scale innovation while ensuring reliability and manufacturability for Indian applications.

As LTEPS Partners with EVR Motors, both companies aim to accelerate the adoption of efficient electric powertrain technologies. Industry experts believe this initiative will strengthen India’s EV supply chain and support the transition toward sustainable transportation. With LTEPS partnering with EVR Motors, the collaboration is set to play a key role in shaping the future of electric mobility in India.
