Skoda’s New Flagship EV To Debut On June 23 as the Czech automaker gears up to unveil the all-new Skoda Peaq, a premium electric SUV that will sit at the top of the brand’s EV lineup. Ahead of its global premiere in France, Skoda has released official design sketches, offering the first detailed look at the production model and its fresh design direction.
The Peaq marks a significant milestone for the company as its first fully electric three-row flagship SUV. Unlike most Skoda SUVs that begin with the letter “K,” the new Peaq follows a different naming strategy, highlighting its importance in the brand’s evolving electric future.

Fresh Design Language Takes Center Stage
One of the biggest highlights is the introduction of Skoda’s new design philosophy. The traditional grille has been replaced by a glossy black “Tech-Deck Face,” which integrates subtle vertical elements and advanced lighting technology.
The front fascia features ultra-slim T-shaped LED Matrix headlights connected by a horizontal lighting strip, creating a distinctive lighting signature. Similar T-shaped lighting elements appear at the rear, giving the SUV a modern and futuristic look.
Additional exterior highlights include flush door handles, aerodynamic alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches, wide D-pillars, a large rear spoiler, and strong upright SUV proportions.
Biggest Production Skoda Ever Built
Skoda’s New Flagship EV To Debut On June 23 with dimensions that make it the largest production vehicle ever created by the brand. Measuring nearly 4.9 meters in length and featuring a 2,965 mm wheelbase, the Peaq is designed to offer exceptional interior space.
Buyers will be able to choose between five-seat and seven-seat configurations, while a six-seat version is expected to be available in select markets later. The five-seat model offers up to 1,010 liters of cargo space, complemented by a practical 37-liter front trunk.
Powerful Electric Performance and Long Driving Range
Built on the Volkswagen Group’s dedicated MEB electric platform, the Peaq will be available with 63 kWh and 91 kWh battery options.
The lineup is expected to include a 204 hp rear-wheel-drive version, a 286 hp variant, and a range-topping dual-motor all-wheel-drive model producing up to 299 hp. Higher-spec variants are expected to deliver more than 600 km of driving range on a single charge.
Fast-charging capability allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes, while the flagship AWD version can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.
Premium Cabin and Global Debut
Inside, the SUV is expected to feature a 13.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, an augmented reality head-up display, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Higher trims may also include massage seats, foldable tables, adjustable footrests, wellness modes, and dedicated rear climate controls.
