BikeWo Green Tech Limited is preparing for a major transformation in India’s electric mobility sector, moving beyond EV sales and distribution toward fleet ownership, leasing, and specialized mobility services. BikeWo Plans 10000-EV Fleet Expansion during FY 2026-27 under its new “BikeWo Ascend” strategy, aiming to build a large operating fleet serving transportation, enterprise mobility, and technology-enabled logistics. The expansion is supported by a preferential issue of warrants worth more than ₹76 crore.
A significant early opportunity comes from Reliance Industries’ Bio Energy Division, highlighting how specialized electric vehicles could increasingly support industrial and biomass-handling operations beyond conventional passenger transportation applications.

What Is BikeWo’s FY27 EV Plan?
BikeWo Green Tech is targeting approximately 10,000 vehicles in its operating fleet during FY 2026-27, shifting its business model toward EV asset ownership, leasing, fleet deployment, and specialized mobility operations.
₹76 Crore Fundraise to Drive Fleet Expansion
The company plans to finance its ambitious growth through a preferential issue of warrants raising more than ₹76 crore. The funding will support the acquisition and deployment of electric vehicles and the operational infrastructure required to manage a substantially larger fleet.
Under BikeWo Ascend, the company intends to participate across last-mile, mid-mile, and long-mile transportation, while also developing enterprise mobility, specialized fleet applications, lifecycle support, and technology-enabled logistics.
Key Expansion Highlights
- Target fleet: Approximately 10,000 vehicles in FY 2026-27
- Fundraising: More than ₹76 crore through preferential warrants
- Business shift: From EV sales to asset ownership and leasing
- Focus areas: Logistics, enterprise mobility, and specialized transport
- Reliance contract: Estimated value of ₹66.46 crore
- Contract validity: Extends until July 2033
₹66.46 Crore Reliance Bio-Energy Contract
A major milestone for the strategy is BikeWo’s agreement with Reliance Industries’ Bio Energy Division. The contracts have an estimated aggregate value of approximately ₹66.46 crore and remain valid until July 2033.
The engagement involves hiring and deploying specialised electric tractors equipped with loader, catcher and grabber applications for biomass handling. Driver and vehicle-operation services are also included.
The deployment demonstrates an emerging application for electric mobility in bio-energy and biomass-handling operations, extending EV use into specialised industrial environments.
BikeWo Ascend Signals a Broader EV Strategy
BikeWo Plans 10000-EV Fleet Expansion as part of a broader move into asset ownership, leasing, operating partnerships, specialized mobility, and technology-enabled logistics.
CEO Hiten Pal Saklani said BikeWo Ascend is intended to build a larger business around the infrastructure, operations, and technology that enable electric vehicles to deliver value.
Leadership and Financial Growth
To strengthen its operational transition, BikeWo has appointed Sumanth Badiga to its Advisory Board. He brings more than three decades of experience in the automotive and transportation sectors.
BikeWo began as a multi-brand electric two-wheeler retailer in Telangana in 2016 before moving into fleet operations in 2025. It was listed on NSE Emerge in September 2024 under the ticker BIKEWO.
For FY2026, the company reported consolidated revenue of ₹54.49 crore, representing a 132% increase, while net profit reached ₹4.50 crore.
What BikeWo’s Expansion Means
BikeWo Plans 10000-EV Fleet Expansion with a model centered on assets, partnerships, and operational capabilities rather than vehicle sales alone. The company says its expansion will combine vehicles, technology, partners, and operating expertise across India.
As BikeWo continues building partnerships across the EV, logistics, energy, and technology sectors, BikeWo Ascend represents its next phase of growth, with specialized electric mobility emerging as a key part of its strategy.
