Ahmedabad-based startup Avore Electric has officially entered India’s electric two-wheeler market with the Avore Electric EX bike Launched at an introductory price of ₹124,999 (ex-showroom). Unveiled by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the new electric motorcycle is built on an indigenous technology platform and is available in three variants—EX1, EX2, and EX2S. Designed to cater to both urban commuters and highway riders, the motorcycle combines long-range capability, connected technology, and locally developed engineering. Pre-bookings are now open for a token amount of ₹799, while customer deliveries are expected to begin in September 2026.

Performance, Charging and Riding Technology
The Avore Electric EX bike Launched features a rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) integrated with the swingarm for improved efficiency and packaging. The flagship EX2S delivers a top speed of 114 km/h and an IDC-certified riding range of up to 260 km, making it suitable for both city travel and longer rides.
Charging is designed for convenience. The EX2 and EX2S come equipped with a 1,500W onboard fast charger, while the EX1 gets a 750W charger. All variants can be plugged into standard 5A or 15A household sockets, with the 5 kWh battery models charging from 0 to 100% in around four hours.
The motorcycle also includes disc brakes at both ends, a Combined Braking System (CBS), and an Adaptive Regen System (ARS) that regenerates energy through reverse throttle modulation. Adding a unique riding experience is the optional “Syft” mode, which simulates a traditional four-speed manual gearbox for riders who prefer a conventional motorcycle feel.
Connected Features, Safety and Warranty
Avore equips the motorcycle with its in-house Synapse Operating System, offering AI-powered ride analytics, real-time diagnostics, efficiency scores, and connectivity through 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS navigation.
Safety remains a major focus, with the motorcycle complying with AIS 156 and AIS 038 battery safety standards. An onboard IMU sensor network provides alerts for towing attempts, vehicle tampering, geofence breaches, and crash detection. The battery is backed by a 5-year or 60,000 km warranty, adding confidence for long-term ownership.
Indigenous Technology Platform and Manufacturing
The Avore Electric EX bike Launched has been developed on the company’s proprietary AVORE Source technology stack and dedicated AVR electric motorcycle platform. According to the company, more than nine major vehicle systems have been engineered in-house at its Ahmedabad R&D center, including the battery pack, battery management system, electric motor, motor controller, power-control module, DC-DC converter, onboard charger, display system, and vehicle operating system.
Avore Electric also states that it has filed over 120 intellectual property applications during the motorcycle’s three-year development programme. Production takes place at its 150,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Chhatral, Gujarat, which has a claimed production capacity of 15,000 electric two-wheelers per month.
Bookings and Availability
Bookings for the new electric motorcycle are open across India for ₹799, while display units are expected to reach dealerships in major cities from August 2026. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin around September 2026.
With competitive pricing, an IDC-certified range of up to 260 km, connected smart features, indigenous technology, and fast home charging support, Avore Electric has made a strong debut in India’s growing electric motorcycle segment.
