Designed for city commuters, delivery fleets, and shared mobility platforms, this revamped scooter promises longer range, smarter connectivity, and enhanced stability for everyday rides. Lighter Frame and Better Urban Stability
One of the most noticeable upgrades in the new Silence S02 is its lighter chassis, with the scooter now weighing 132 kg. The reduced weight makes it more agile and easier to handle in heavy city traffic. Adding to its improved road manners is a larger front wheel, which enhances balance, safety, and stability on uneven urban roads.
For the first time, Silence has also introduced a dedicated under-seat storage compartment in the S02. This storage space can comfortably fit a full-face helmet, making the scooter far more practical for daily commuters.
Certified 138 km Range with Swappable Battery
The biggest highlight of the upgraded S02 is its certified range of up to 138 km, placing it among the top performers in the urban electric scooter category. It continues to use Silence’s proven 5.6 kWh removable battery pack, which can be easily detached and charged at home using a regular power socket.
In addition to home charging, the battery can be swapped in under 30 seconds at Silence’s battery-swapping stations across Spain and France, making it especially attractive for delivery fleets and shared mobility operators where vehicle uptime is critical.
Two Variants for Different Riders
The upgraded Silence S02 is offered in two European variants:
- S02 L1e: Top speed of 45 km/h, priced at €2,990, ideal for city commuters.
- S02 L3e: Top speed of 85 km/h, priced at €3,490, aimed at professional users and faster urban travel.
Smart Features and Ride Modes
The scooter comes with My Silence mobile app connectivity, offering features such as keyless access, live vehicle tracking, remote battery monitoring, and temporary access sharing for rentals and fleets. Riders can also choose between Eco, City, and Sport riding modes.
