Bengaluru is witnessing an electrifying shift in urban mobility as Exponent Energy unveils a game-changing initiative for three-wheeler drivers. With cutting-edge technology, rapid-charging solutions, and hassle-free financing, the future of EVs is nearer than ever. Right at the heart of this transformation, Exponent Energy enters into the three-wheeler EV Retail Business, offering not just new electric three-wheelers but also quick retrofits for existing CNG and LPG autos. Could this be the turning point for affordable, convenient electric mobility in the city?

A New Retail Touchpoint for EV Adoption

Located at Tarun Arcade, the new ESP Store showcases the complete range of Exponent-enabled electric three-wheelers developed in partnership with leading OEMs such as Montra Electric (Murugappa Group) and Kinetic Green. Fleet operators and drivers can explore all available models, understand the rapid-charging ecosystem, take test drives, and even receive personalized technical consultations.

Every Exponent-enabled three-wheeler comes with a five-year warranty or 3,000 charging cycles, making EV ownership more reliable and cost-effective. Customers also gain access to easy financing options, minimal documentation, zero down payment for retrofits, flexible EMIs, and an assured buyback plan after three years.

24-Hour EV Retrofit: The Exponent Oto Advantage

One of the biggest highlights of the new store is its retrofit capability. With the launch of Exponent Oto, the company now offers a 24-hour conversion service that transforms existing CNG or LPG passenger autos into full-fledged electric vehicles. Drivers can drop off their current vehicles and pick up their upgraded EV the very next day.

This retrofit solution significantly reduces operational costs. Even after factoring in EMIs and charging expenses, drivers can save up to ₹5,000 per month—making EV adoption not just eco-friendly but financially appealing.

Rapid Charging: 0–100% in 15 Minutes

Exponent Energy’s retail strategy is powered by its proprietary rapid-charging ecosystem. Vehicles equipped with the Exponent e^pack battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes at an e^pump charging station. Bengaluru already hosts over 70 e^pump charging points, ensuring widespread access for commercial drivers who depend on quick turnaround times.

Scaling Up for the Future

According to Ayush Bhargava, Head of Business at Exponent Energy, the new store gives drivers a complete, hands-on experience of the Exponent ecosystem—offering clarity, convenience, and confidence. He emphasized that this model will soon be replicated across other major Indian cities.

By the end of FY26, Exponent plans to establish more than 15 such touchpoints across Bengaluru, further accelerating the shift toward electric mobility.
