VinFast is gearing up to make a strong entry into India’s electric vehicle market with its upcoming MPV, the VinFast Limo Green. Set to launch in February 2026, this will be the Vietnamese automaker’s third electric car in India, following the VF 6 and VF 7. Designed as a spacious and practical seven-seater, the Limo Green aims to compete with electric MPVs like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7, while also posing a challenge to popular ICE vehicles such as the Toyota Innova Crysta.
Here are the top five facts to know about the VinFast Limo Green:
1. Launch and Positioning
The Limo Green will debut in India in February 2026, positioned as a family-friendly and fleet-oriented electric MPV. With its seven-seat layout and roomy dimensions, it targets both private users and ride-hailing services. VinFast plans to leverage its own electric ride-hailing brand, Green and Smart Mobility (GSM), to increase market penetration.

2. Powertrain and Range
While exact India-spec details are yet to be announced, the international version comes with a 60.13 kWh battery and a front-mounted electric motor producing around 201 hp and 280 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed NEDC range of 450 km on a single charge. The battery supports 11 kW AC and 80 kW DC fast charging, reaching 10–70% in just 30 minutes.
3. Seating and Dimensions
The Limo Green features a 2+3+2 seating configuration for seven passengers across three rows. Measuring 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,728 mm in height, with a 2,840 mm wheelbase, it is larger than many rivals, emphasizing passenger comfort and cargo practicality.
4. Interior and Features
The cabin is minimalistic yet functional, featuring a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a four-speaker audio setup, single-zone AC with vents for all three rows, multiple USB ports, and an electronic parking brake. While ADAS availability is unconfirmed, the vehicle will include safety essentials like multiple airbags and ABS.
5. Local Production and Design
To maintain competitive pricing, VinFast will manufacture the Limo Green locally at its Tamil Nadu facility. Its exterior blends the automaker’s V-shaped design motifs with traditional MPV styling, slab-sided panels, and aerodynamic wheels for efficiency.
With the VinFast Limo Green, India’s electric MPV segment is set to see a new contender that combines space, practicality, and EV efficiency, making it a vehicle to watch closely in 2026.
