In a major achievement for India’s electric mobility industry, TVS iQube & Orbiter Cross 10 Lakh EV Sales in India, reinforcing TVS Motor Company’s position as one of the country’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers. According to Vahan vehicle registration data as of June 11, 2026, the company has recorded cumulative retail sales of 1,004,148 electric scooters through its popular iQube and Orbiter models.

This milestone makes TVS only the second electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India to surpass the one-million sales mark, highlighting the growing acceptance of electric scooters among Indian consumers.

iQube Continues to Drive Growth

Launched in January 2020, the TVS iQube laid the foundation for the company’s EV journey. Over the years, the scooter has evolved into a comprehensive product family with multiple battery options ranging from around 2.2 kWh to over 5 kWh. Premium variants offer a riding range exceeding 150 km on a single charge and come equipped with advanced features such as touchscreen displays, navigation, voice assistance, connected technology, ride analytics, over-the-air updates, and fast-charging capabilities.

The success of the iQube has been a key reason why TVS iQube & Orbiter Cross 10 Lakh EV Sales in India has become one of the biggest EV success stories in the country.

Orbiter Expands TVS’s Reach

TVS further strengthened its electric portfolio with the introduction of the Orbiter range. Designed as an affordable urban electric scooter, the Orbiter targets first-time EV buyers and budget-conscious consumers.

The lineup includes the Orbiter V1 and Orbiter V2 variants, while the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model significantly lowers the upfront purchase cost. This strategy has helped TVS attract a wider customer base across urban and semi-urban markets.

Sales Growth Accelerates Rapidly

TVS’s growth trajectory has accelerated dramatically over the past few years. While the company took more than three years to sell its first one lakh electric scooters, the pace has increased significantly since then.

The first five lakh units took over five years to achieve, whereas the next five lakh units were sold in just 16 months. Remarkably, the latest one lakh scooters were delivered in only 75 days between March 28 and June 10, 2026, averaging over 1,333 registrations per day.

This rapid momentum has ensured that TVS iQube & Orbiter Cross 10 Lakh EV Sales in India remain one of the most significant developments in the country’s EV sector.

Market Leadership and Future Outlook

TVS’s market share has grown from just 1% in 2020 to around 26% year-to-date in 2026. The company recorded a monthly sales record of 51,605 units in May 2026 and has already retailed 219,232 electric scooters between January and June 11, 2026.

With an extensive network of more than 3,300 dealerships and strong demand for both the iQube and Orbiter, industry analysts believe TVS could approach the half-million annual sales mark by the end of 2026. As TVS iQube & Orbiter Cross 10 Lakh EV Sales in India, the company is set to play a crucial role in shaping the future of India’s electric mobility revolution.
