India-Focused Development with Global Expertise
Developed in India with a global outlook, the EC-06 is manufactured in Bengaluru through a strategic collaboration with River Mobility. Built on the River Indie platform, the partnership combines Yamaha’s global two-wheeler engineering expertise with River’s EV manufacturing capabilities. Highlighting the importance of this step, Yamaha Motor India Group Chairman Hajime Aota stated that the EC-06 represents a key milestone in Yamaha’s journey toward sustainable urban mobility.
