As electric mobility scales rapidly across Europe, the need for high-capacity, reliable charging infrastructure has become critical. Schneider Electric launches EV charging system solutions designed to meet this demand with the introduction of the Schneider StarCharge Fast 720, a powerful new offering tailored for fleet operators and commercial or industrial sites.

Built for High-Throughput Charging

The Schneider StarCharge Fast 720 delivers an impressive maximum output of 720 kW, enabling the simultaneous charging of up to 12 electric vehicles. This makes it ideal for high-traffic locations managing mixed fleets, including electric trucks, buses, and passenger cars. By supporting high volumes without compromising performance, Schneider Electric launches EV charging system technology to keep vehicles on the move and minimize downtime.

Decentralized Architecture for Flexible Site Design

One of the standout features of the StarCharge Fast 720 is its decentralized architecture. A central switchgear cabinet supports up to six compact charging dispensers, which can be placed within an 80-meter radius. This design provides operators with exceptional flexibility to adapt layouts to different site footprints while allowing scalable expansion as charging demand increases.

High Efficiency with Smart Energy Management

Efficiency is a key differentiator, with the system achieving a 97% efficiency rating, helping reduce energy losses and operating costs. Advanced dynamic load management intelligently distributes power in real time based on vehicle demand. This ensures optimal energy utilization across diverse vehicle types, reinforcing why Schneider Electric launches EV charging system solutions positioned for next-generation eMobility infrastructure.

Technical Performance and Operational Advantages

The system operates across a voltage range of 150 to 1,000 volts, delivering a standard charging current of 380 amperes, with temporary boosts of up to 600 amperes when required. Its decentralized setup reduces the need for multiple grid connections, simplifies installation, and lowers operational noise—key benefits for urban and industrial environments.

End-to-End Lifecycle Support

To maximize uptime, the StarCharge Fast 720 integrates with the EcoStruxure Energy Asset Portal, providing 24/7 remote monitoring, diagnostics, and tailored maintenance plans. From installation to ongoing operations, Schneider Electric offers comprehensive lifecycle support, ensuring long-term reliability. With this launch, Schneider Electric launches an EV charging system innovation that sets a new benchmark for commercial EV charging across Europe.
