The Sourcewell contract streamlines access to Verdek’s comprehensive portfolio of EV charging solutions. It includes DC fast chargers ranging from 24 kW to 200+ kW, with configurations that are high-power-charging ready, as well as Level 2 AC chargers from 7.7 kW to 19.2 kW. Beyond hardware, the contract covers a full suite of professional services, including site surveys and feasibility studies, design and engineering, procurement enablement, utility coordination and incentive support, turnkey installation, and long-term operations. Ongoing maintenance, warranties, and service level agreements (SLAs) are also part of the offering, ensuring reliability and performance over the lifecycle of the charging infrastructure.

The partnership between Verdek and Sourcewell was formally launched on December 10, 2025, during a contract launch event held at Sourcewell’s headquarters in Staples, Minnesota. Senior leaders from both organizations attended the event to align on go-to-market execution, adoption goals, and near-term customer enablement strategies, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to accelerate EV infrastructure deployment across North America.

Sourcewell participating entities include thousands of public agencies across the United States and Canada, such as government bodies, municipalities, higher education institutions, K–12 schools, nonprofit organizations, tribal entities, and other public agencies. Additionally, under 10 U.S.C. § 2679, eligible U.S. Department of Defense authorized installations may access Sourcewell’s cooperative purchasing agreements through intergovernmental support arrangements. Verdek was selected through Sourcewell’s highly competitive RFP #021825 process, which received 86 proposals, underscoring the rigor and credibility of the award.

Commenting on the achievement, Guy Mannino, CEO of Verdek, stated that the Sourcewell award represents a strong vote of confidence in Verdek’s ability to deliver compliant, scalable, and turnkey EV charging infrastructure nationwide. He emphasized that public agencies require speed, accountability, and proven solutions, all of which are enabled through this cooperative contract. Sourcewell also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting public agencies by expanding access to EV charging solutions through its Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment category.
