  • Land Allocation: The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has allocated 65.56 acres for this initiative.
  • Investment: ₹1,200 crore, making it one of the largest investments in Rajasthan’s EV sector to date.
  • Capacity: The facility will have a proposed annual production capacity of 33,000 electric buses.

Production Scope

The plant will not only assemble electric buses but will also manufacture essential components, including:

  • Bus bodies
  • Electric motors
  • Batteries
  • Wire harnesses
  • Other EV components

This comprehensive manufacturing approach aims to create a fully integrated electric bus ecosystem in Rajasthan.

Employment and Skill Development

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted that the project would create numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities, particularly benefiting the youth of the state. The plant is expected to foster skill development and training in the emerging field of electromobility, empowering local talent to participate in the growing EV industry.
