The company estimates that micro-dealers can potentially earn up to ₹1 lakh per month, making it an attractive opportunity for local youth.
Expansion Plans and Economic Impact
Elvania aims to establish 40 HLMD units across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh within the next year. This expansion is expected to significantly boost local employment and economic inclusion.
Officials noted that Elvania has launched its EV ecosystem not just as a business venture but as a step towards long-term regional development. The initiative aligns with India’s broader sustainability goals while addressing unemployment at the grassroots level.
Made-in-India EV Portfolio
The company also showcased its electric vehicle lineup, including the flagship ELI-EV smart electric two-wheelers. These vehicles are built with over 95% Made-in-India components, reinforcing domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Boost to Green Innovation and Collaboration
In a parallel development, Elvania has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of MSME in Srinagar to establish the region’s first Technology and Energy Research Centre (TERC).
