India’s electric mobility sector has taken another significant step forward as BLive launches BLive PRIME, a new franchise-led electric four-wheeler (4W) cargo fleet ownership model designed to accelerate the electrification of the country’s rapidly growing last-mile logistics market. The initiative marks BLive’s strategic expansion beyond its successful electric two-wheeler mobility platform into the commercial electric mini-truck segment, creating fresh investment opportunities while supporting sustainable logistics.

BLive PRIME Introduces a Franchise-Owned, Company-Operated Model

With BLive’s launch of BLive PRIME, the company has introduced a Franchisee-Owned, Company-Operated (FOCO) model that allows investors to own electric cargo vehicle assets while BLive manages the complete operational lifecycle. This includes vehicle deployment, fleet utilisation, maintenance, and day-to-day operations, enabling investors to participate in India’s EV growth without handling operational complexities.

The entry investment for franchise partners starts at ₹50 lakh, making it an asset-backed investment model focused on commercial EV fleet ownership.

Targeting India’s Fast-Growing Last-Mile Delivery Market

India’s last-mile logistics industry is expanding rapidly due to the continued growth of e-commerce, quick commerce, and digital delivery services. Industry estimates project the sector to grow at a 15-20% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the coming years.

Recognising this opportunity, BLive launches BLive PRIME to meet the increasing demand for reliable, high-utilisation, and cost-efficient electric cargo fleets. The company plans to deploy 500 electric cargo vehicles during the current financial year, beginning with Bengaluru before expanding into Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

Commercial EV Fleet Powered by Proven Electric Mini Trucks

The BLive PRIME ecosystem will utilise commercially proven electric mini trucks, including the Tata Ace EV, a vehicle already widely used for urban freight transportation and last-mile delivery operations.

These electric cargo vehicles are designed to deliver dependable performance in high-frequency commercial applications while reducing operating costs and emissions compared to conventional fuel-powered vehicles.

BLive already supports fleet deployments across major logistics platforms such as Hyperpure, Porter, and Delhivery, demonstrating the growing acceptance of electric commercial vehicles in real-world logistics operations.

Leadership Highlights the Next Phase of EV Growth

Commenting on the launch, BLive Co-Founder and CEO Sandeep Mukherjee said that India’s EV transition is entering a stage in which commercial applications, particularly last-mile logistics, will drive large-scale adoption. He explained that BLive PRIME connects investor capital with strong logistics demand, enabling fleet ownership while the company manages operations and deployment.

According to him, the model offers a scalable pathway for fleet electrification while creating structured investment opportunities in India’s expanding EV ecosystem.

How BLive PRIME Supports India’s EV Ecosystem

With BLive’s launch of BLive PRIME, the company aims to strengthen multiple aspects of India’s electric mobility ecosystem by

  • Enabling scalable expansion of electric cargo fleets through investor participation.
  • Supporting the electrification of high-frequency delivery and logistics operations.
  • Offering asset-backed, demand-linked investment opportunities.
  • Reducing operational barriers for EV fleet owners through complete fleet management.

Outlook

As India’s urban logistics sector continues to evolve, electric mini trucks are expected to play a crucial role in building cleaner, more efficient delivery networks. By combining investor participation, professional fleet management, and growing commercial demand, BLive launches BLive PRIME as a scalable solution that could significantly accelerate the adoption of electric cargo vehicles across India’s last-mile delivery ecosystem.
