Havells India Limited brought its electric mobility and renewable energy portfolio to Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, held from October 22 to 24 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The company displayed MotrON alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) chargers alongside solar modules, hybrid inverters and battery storage solutions. At the centre of its presentation, the Havells EV Chargers showcase highlighted charging options for homeowners, businesses and highway operators.
The display at Hall 9, Booth A67, reflected a broader effort to connect vehicle charging with cleaner electricity generation and storage as India’s electric mobility ecosystem continues to expand.

What Did Havells Display?
Havells exhibited MotrON AC chargers rated 7.4–22 kW and DC chargers rated 30–240 kW at REI Expo 2026. The Havells EV Chargers showcase was part of a wider display featuring TOPCon solar modules, hybrid inverters, battery energy storage, and GREEHA rooftop solar kits.
MotrON AC and DC Chargers: Key Highlights
Designed to cover different charging needs, MotrON spans everyday AC charging and higher-powered DC installations. Its stated capacities position the portfolio across homes, offices, public parking areas, commercial fleets, and highway charging locations. Actual charging speeds depend on the vehicle, battery conditions, and supported power.
- AC chargers (7.4–22 kW): Intended for residential and light commercial charging, including overnight and workplace parking.
- DC fast chargers (30–240 kW): Aimed at higher-demand sites where quicker vehicle turnaround is important, including commercial hubs and highways.
The Havells EV Chargers showcase illustrated how one portfolio can address several charging environments rather than a single customer segment as India’s charging requirements become more diverse.
Electric car owners exploring home charging solutions can compare compatible AC charging equipment and vehicle power-sharing accessories. You can also Buy EV Car AC Chargers & V2V/V2L Adapters based on your vehicle’s specifications, charging requirements, and supported features.
TOPCon Solar Modules and GREEHA Rooftop Kits
Beyond charging, Havells displayed 630 Wp TOPCon solar modules featuring 132 half-cut cells and a stated 23.32% conversion efficiency. Domestic content requirement (DCR) and non-DCR options were presented for different procurement needs.
GREEHA residential rooftop solar kits were shown in 3.3 kW, 4 kW, and 5 kW configurations. The package includes a 30-year module performance warranty and a 10-year inverter warranty, with single-window local service support intended to simplify ownership.
Hybrid Inverters and Battery Energy Storage
Single-phase 3 kW and 6 kW hybrid inverters completed the home-energy lineup. They feature IP66 protection, support lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries, and offer charging capacity up to 120 A. Such equipment can combine solar generation, storage, and household electricity needs.
Havells also displayed battery energy storage systems (BESS) for commercial peak shaving and backup power. Peak shaving means reducing grid electricity demand during high-consumption periods, potentially helping businesses manage demand-related costs. Backup performance depends on the installed system and its configuration.
Why the REI 2026 Display Matters
By presenting EV chargers alongside solar and storage equipment, Havells highlighted the increasingly important link between electric mobility and distributed renewable energy. The Havells EV Chargers showcase reflects a strategy covering charging hardware and supporting clean-energy systems. However, exhibition details alone do not confirm product prices, installation timelines, or fresh launch dates. Those factors remain crucial for buyers, fleet operators and charging-site developers evaluating future investments.
