The Rolls-Royce Nightingale marks a new chapter in ultra-luxury automotive design, debuting as the first model under the brand’s exclusive Coachbuild Collection. Known for crafting multi-million-dollar masterpieces, Rolls-Royce has taken personalization and exclusivity to new heights with this all-electric convertible, limited to just 100 units worldwide.
Extreme Exclusivity Meets Future Mobility
Positioned between bespoke commissions and one-off creations, the Rolls-Royce Nightingale is strictly available by invitation to elite clients. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2028. Despite being a two-seater, the car stretches nearly 19 feet (5.76 metres), matching the imposing length of the flagship Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Powering this ultra-rare model is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive electric setup, derived from the same “Architecture of Luxury” platform used in the Rolls-Royce Spectre. It produces around 577 horsepower, with potential tuning enhancements for even greater performance.
Design Inspired by Art Deco Elegance
The design of the Rolls-Royce Nightingale draws heavily from the “Streamline Moderne” style of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as experimental prototypes like the Rolls-Royce 16EX. Its open-top silhouette reflects timeless elegance, complemented by a unique light blue paint infused with subtle red flecks—a nod to the brand’s historic prototypes.
The front fascia features the widest Pantheon grille ever created, measuring over three feet and incorporating 24 vertical aluminum vanes. Slim, vertically stacked headlights add a futuristic yet refined touch, designed exclusively for this model.
Adding to its grandeur are 24-inch directional wheels—the largest ever fitted on a Rolls-Royce—styled to resemble yacht propellers.
A Cabin Crafted Like No Other
Inside, the Rolls-Royce Nightingale offers a minimalist yet luxurious “horseshoe” cabin layout. The highlight is the innovative “Starlight Breeze” suite, replacing the traditional headliner with 10,500 illuminated points across the doors and rear cabin, inspired by the soundwaves of a nightingale’s song.
Premium materials dominate the interior, including pastel Charles Blue leather, Grace White accents, and Deep Navy inserts. Even the soft-top roof incorporates cashmere for superior sound insulation. Unique touches like a motorised armrest revealing a Spirit of Ecstasy rotary dial and a sideways-opening “Piano Boot” further enhance its exclusivity.
Pricing and Positioning
While official pricing remains undisclosed, estimates place the Rolls-Royce Nightingale between $4 million and $9.5 million. This positions it above the Spectre but below the ultra-exclusive Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, reinforcing its status as a rare yet attainable masterpiece within the brand’s elite lineup.
