Bolt Earth has inaugurated an electric vehicle charging facility in Vijayawada, strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s growing EV infrastructure network. Developed with P Qube Solutions, the new station is located near the National Highway 16 Cross in Nunna, a strategic location for city commuters and intercity travelers. The Bolt Earth 1.5 MW EV Charging Station brings high-power DC chargers and smaller charging options together at one site, catering to electric cars, buses, trucks, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers.
Described in launch coverage as Andhra Pradesh’s largest EV charging facility, the project aims to improve charging accessibility beyond major metropolitan centers and support cleaner highway transportation.
Where Is the New EV Charging Station?
The Bolt Earth 1.5 MW EV Charging Station is at P Qube Solutions, near NH-16 Cross, Nunna, Vijayawada. Its stated capacity is 1.5 megawatts, with separate charging equipment for passenger, commercial, and smaller electric vehicles.

High-Power Charging for Cars, Buses and Trucks
The facility combines several DC charging units to accommodate different vehicle categories and charging requirements. Its announced equipment includes
- Two 240 kW DC fast chargers for high-power charging.
- Three 180 kW DC fast chargers for compatible electric vehicles.
- One 60 kW DC fast charger for additional charging flexibility.
- One 6 kW fast charger intended for electric three-wheelers.
- Two 3 kW DC fast chargers for electric two-wheelers.
- Four 3.3 kW AC sockets for lower-power charging needs.
Together, these options make the site useful for both personal mobility and commercial transport. Actual charging speeds will depend on vehicle compatibility, battery conditions and available power, rather than the station’s headline capacity alone.
Why the NH-16 Location Matters
Positioned near an important highway junction, the Bolt Earth 1.5 MW EV Charging Station is designed to support local drivers and EV users travelling between cities. A mixed-vehicle charging hub can be particularly valuable for electric freight operators, bus services and smaller commercial fleets that need dependable charging outside major urban centers.
Its presence also demonstrates how strategically placed infrastructure could make longer EV journeys more practical, although individual charging times and station availability may vary.
Bolt Earth and P Qube Solutions Explain Their Partnership
Bolt Earth founder Jyotiranjan Harichandan said scalable infrastructure depends on suitable technology, sufficient power and well-chosen locations. He described the collaboration as an important step towards building a reliable charging ecosystem that can support India’s expanding electric mobility market.
D Phani Prakash of P Qube Solutions said the family-led project was driven by a long-term vision. He highlighted Bolt Earth’s integrated hardware, software, and after-sales support across multiple EV segments as key reasons for choosing the company.
What This Means for Andhra Pradesh’s EV Future
The Bolt Earth 1.5 MW EV Charging Station expands Vijayawada’s charging options while highlighting the potential of partnerships between network operators and local site hosts. Its long-term impact will depend on reliable operation and consistent access for drivers across different vehicle categories. For motorists, charger compatibility and operating information remain essential before visiting.
