Omega Seiki Mobility has begun designing a purpose-built electric vehicle aimed at improving independent travel for people with disabilities in India. Announced on September 17, 2026, the project will move beyond conventional aftermarket conversions by developing an accessible vehicle from the ground up. The Omega Seiki EV for Persons with Disabilities will follow a human-centric engineering approach, placing users’ everyday needs at the centre of its architecture.
Accessibility, safety, comfort, convenience, and ease of operation will guide development, while consultation with users and specialists is expected to shape practical features suited to different physical and mobility requirements across travel environments.
