The Delhi Government is set to launch the Delhi EV Subsidy Portal Coming Soon within the first week of July 2026, making it easier for eligible electric vehicle (EV) buyers to claim purchase and scrapping incentives online. According to Transport Department officials, the portal is expected to go live within the next four to five days and will operate under the newly introduced Delhi EV Policy 2026.
The new digital platform aims to simplify the subsidy claim process by allowing applicants to submit their documents online and receive incentives directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
Delhi EV Subsidy Portal Coming Soon: Major Change in the Application Process
One of the biggest changes under the Delhi EV Subsidy Portal Coming Soon is that buyers will now have to submit their subsidy applications themselves. Earlier, dealers assisted customers in completing the process, but the new portal places the responsibility on vehicle owners.

These incentives will be transferred directly into verified bank accounts using an Aadhaar-based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Dealer’s Purchase Certificate
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) details

Applicants seeking the scrapping benefit must upload proof of purchasing a new EV along with the authorised scrapping certificate.
Automatic Benefits for Electric Car Buyers
The government has clarified that electric car buyers and other vehicle categories not covered under purchase subsidies do not need to register on the portal. Their eligible road tax and registration fee exemptions will be applied automatically during vehicle registration at the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
