Rapid Expansion into New Markets

Zypp Electric, India’s leading EV rental platform for last-mile delivery, has achieved a significant milestone as Zypp Electric Expands EV Fleet in Jaipur and Hyderabad, deploying 1,000 electric vehicles across the two cities within just one month of launch. This rapid scale-up highlights the growing acceptance of electric mobility beyond metro cities and reflects Zypp’s confidence in emerging urban markets.

Strategic Entry into Tier-2 and High-Growth Cities

Jaipur marks Zypp Electric’s first entry into a tier-2 city, while Hyderabad strengthens its presence in a key technology and logistics hub. With this move, Zypp Electric expands its EV Fleet in Jaipur and Hyderabad as part of its broader strategy to go beyond Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, tapping into cities with rising demand for sustainable delivery solutions.

Strong Infrastructure Backbone

To support operations, Zypp Electric has established two dedicated operational hubs—one in each city—each spanning over 5,000 square feet. These hubs handle vehicle maintenance, partner onboarding, and battery-swapping operations. Battery swapping, enabled through partnerships such as Indofast Energy, ensures near-zero downtime for delivery partners, addressing range anxiety and improving daily productivity.

Economic Benefits for Delivery Partners

The expansion is delivering clear economic advantages. Delivery partners using the platform reportedly earn between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000 per month. In addition, riders save over ₹5,000 monthly compared to internal combustion engine vehicles, thanks to lower fuel and maintenance costs. These tangible benefits reinforce why Zypp Electric Expands EV Fleet in Jaipur and Hyderabad has resonated strongly with gig workers and logistics partners.

Sustainability at Scale

Beyond economics, the environmental impact is substantial. Nationwide, Zypp Electric’s operations have helped prevent nearly 58 million kilograms of carbon emissions. The company also operates over 900 electric three-wheelers, strengthening its diverse and sustainable vehicle portfolio.

Growth Outlook and Long-Term Vision

Zypp Electric currently operates more than 22,000 EVs and over 1,500 battery swap points across India. For FY25, the company reported ₹455 crore in revenue, marking a 50% year-on-year growth. Looking ahead, plans are in place to scale fleets to 10,000 EVs in Hyderabad and 5,000 in Jaipur during the next financial year. With a long-term goal of 100,000 vehicles across 25 cities by 2030, Zypp Electric expands EV Fleet in Jaipur and Hyderabad as a clear signal of its ambition to lead India’s sustainable last-mile delivery revolution.
