Zomato and Blinkit have strengthened their push towards sustainable last-mile deliveries by hosting the third edition of EV Bazaar in New Delhi. Organized by their parent company, Eternal, the event brought delivery partners, electric vehicle manufacturers and infrastructure providers together at KD Jadhav Stadium. Zomato Blinkit EV Bazaar 3.0 aimed to accelerate fleet electrification by helping delivery workers explore affordable electric two-wheelers, rental services, financing, charging infrastructure and battery-swapping solutions.
With more than 2,500 delivery partners attending and over 30 electric two-wheeler models on display, the event highlighted the growing role of electric mobility in India’s food delivery and quick-commerce sectors.
What Is Zomato Blinkit EV Bazaar 3.0?
Zomato Blinkit EV Bazaar 3.0 is an annual electric mobility exhibition organized by Eternal to encourage electric two-wheeler adoption among Zomato and Blinkit delivery partners. Held at KD Jadhav Stadium in New Delhi, the third edition featured over 30 EV models, more than 20 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and infrastructure partners, and solutions for EV rentals, financing, charging and battery swapping.
EV Bazaar 3.0 Brings Together Delivery Partners and EV Companies
The third edition of EV Bazaar attracted more than 2,500 delivery partners and over 20 EV manufacturers and infrastructure partners. The exhibition showcased more than 30 electric two-wheeler models, giving riders an opportunity to compare vehicles and evaluate their suitability for daily delivery operations.
The event also connected delivery workers directly with companies offering EV rentals, vehicle ownership options, financing, charging services and battery-swapping solutions. These interactions were designed to help delivery partners understand the practical and financial aspects of switching from conventional petrol-powered two-wheelers to electric alternatives.

The event was attended by Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, as the chief guest. Jitender Patil, Head of the EV Cell at the Maharashtra Transport Department, attended as a distinguished guest, while former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was present as the celebrity guest.

200,000 Delivery Partners Have Switched to Electric Two-Wheelers
Eternal’s electric mobility initiatives are gaining traction across its food delivery and quick-commerce platforms. As of September 30, 2026, more than 200,000 delivery partners across Zomato and Blinkit were using electric two-wheelers to complete deliveries.
The company reported that EVs powered 228 million deliveries across both platforms in FY26, helping avoid approximately 9,926 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
Key highlights of the EV transition:
- 200,000+ delivery partners using electric two-wheelers as of September 30, 2026.
- 228 million deliveries powered by EVs during FY26.
- 9,926 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided in FY26.
- 23,000+ delivery partners used the in-app EV rental feature during FY26.
- 1,500+ electric two-wheelers deployed through the company’s rental fleet across Delhi and Chennai as of March 2026.
These figures underline how electric vehicles are becoming an increasingly important part of last-mile delivery operations, helping companies pursue lower-emission logistics while expanding options for delivery workers.
Zomato and Blinkit Expand EV Rental and Ownership Options
For many delivery partners, the upfront cost of buying an electric two-wheeler can be a barrier to adoption. To address this challenge, Zomato and Blinkit provide a ‘Rent a Vehicle’ feature through their delivery partner apps.
The feature allows eligible delivery partners to rent electric two-wheelers without making an immediate purchase. Riders can also locate nearby charging and battery-swapping stations within their delivery zones, making it easier to integrate EVs into their daily work.
More than 23,000 delivery partners used the feature to rent EVs for deliveries in FY26.
Building on this approach, Zomato Local Services launched its own electric vehicle rental fleet in June 2025. By March 2026, more than 1,500 electric two-wheelers had been deployed across Delhi and Chennai.
Together, these initiatives provide delivery partners with different routes to electrification, including short-term rentals, longer-term use and vehicle ownership.
EMO Energy Showcases 20-Minute Fast-Charging Technology
Battery charging speed and vehicle availability are important considerations for delivery workers who depend on their two-wheelers for income. At EV Bazaar 3.0, EMO Energy, the event’s powered-by partner, showcased battery technology designed to support charging in approximately 20 minutes.
The company’s solution aims to reduce charging downtime and help last-mile vehicles return to service more quickly.
Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-Founder and CEO of EMO Energy, said the collaboration with Zomato and Blinkit combines advanced batteries with fast charging to improve vehicle availability and keep delivery operations moving.
Faster charging, alongside battery swapping and wider charging access, could help address practical concerns that influence electric two-wheeler adoption among commercial riders.
Government Highlights EVs’ Role in Energy Security
Speaking at the event, chief guest Mahmood Ahmed highlighted the importance of transport electrification for India’s energy security and air pollution control.
He said the adoption of EVs by delivery partners could accelerate the transition to electric mobility. As more commercial riders switch to electric vehicles, demand for charging, battery swapping and servicing networks can grow, potentially benefiting other EV users as well.
His remarks underscored the broader significance of initiatives such as EV Bazaar, which brings businesses, vehicle manufacturers, infrastructure providers and delivery workers together to support the country’s electric mobility transition.
Eternal Highlights the Financial Benefits of EV Adoption
Anjalli Ravi Kumar, Chief Sustainability Officer at Eternal, emphasized that electric mobility must make practical and financial sense for delivery partners.
She noted that vehicle performance directly affects riders’ ability to earn efficiently, particularly because delivery work may be one of several responsibilities they manage during the day.
According to Ravi Kumar, EV Bazaar gives delivery partners an opportunity to evaluate electric two-wheelers by interacting directly with companies involved in manufacturing, renting, financing and charging vehicles.
This approach places affordability, operating requirements and earning potential alongside environmental benefits when helping riders consider the switch to electric mobility.
EV Bazaar 3.0 Rewards Delivery Partners
Beyond showcasing vehicles and technology, Zomato Blinkit EV Bazaar 3.0 also recognised delivery partners who contributed to the shift towards electric mobility.
Three delivery partners were felicitated with new electric two-wheelers, while another received a one-year free rental plan through the EV partner network. Selected delivery partners were also presented with mementos in recognition of their performance.
The recognition highlighted the role delivery workers play in advancing fleet electrification and encouraged greater participation in the transition to electric vehicles.
What EV Bazaar 3.0 Means for India’s Electric Mobility Market
The initiative reflects the growing importance of commercial two-wheelers in India’s electric vehicle ecosystem. Food delivery and quick-commerce platforms operate large last-mile networks, making their fleet choices significant for EV adoption, charging demand and emissions reduction.
By bringing manufacturers, rental providers, charging companies and delivery partners together, Zomato and Blinkit are addressing several practical barriers to adoption. Access to rentals can reduce upfront costs, while financing options, fast charging and battery swapping can make electric two-wheelers more accessible for everyday delivery work.
The reported scale of EV-powered deliveries also demonstrates how electrification can be incorporated into high-volume commercial operations. However, sustained growth will depend on vehicle affordability, battery performance, reliable infrastructure, servicing access and the financial benefits experienced by riders.
With EV Bazaar 3.0, Eternal continues to position delivery partner engagement as a key part of its electric mobility strategy. The initiative combines vehicle discovery, rental access, charging solutions and industry collaboration to support a gradual transition towards more sustainable last-mile deliveries in India.
