Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL Group) has inaugurated India’s first exclusive workshop dedicated to Mahindra battery-electric vehicles. The Mahindra EV Workshop in Hyderabad represents a major expansion of specialized after-sales support as electric vehicle adoption accelerates across the city.
Senior officials from Mahindra & Mahindra and AMPL Group inaugurated the facility, marking an important milestone in the companies’ partnership. Located on Miyapur Road in Bowrampet, it is positioned to serve the rapidly developing residential and commercial areas of north-west Hyderabad.
Large Facility With Advanced Charging
Spread across 14,000 sq. ft., the Mahindra EV Workshop in Hyderabad houses 14 fully equipped service bays. Its charging infrastructure includes a 180kW ultra-fast charger and 11kW chargers, designed to support efficient vehicle handling and reduce service turnaround times.
The workshop is equipped with advanced EV diagnostic systems, modern repair tools, and genuine spare parts. These resources will help technicians identify issues accurately and perform specialized maintenance for Mahindra’s expanding electric vehicle portfolio.
Capacity to Service 12,000 EVs Annually
The Mahindra EV Workshop in Hyderabad can service up to 12,000 BEVs every year. A specialized team of 50 trained employees will manage diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and customer support, strengthening the region’s EV service ecosystem.
Customer-focused amenities include a comfortable lounge, digital service updates, and an automobile spa. Owners can track service progress while their vehicles undergo maintenance or detailing.
