Kia Syros EV Bookings Open nationwide with a token amount of ₹25,000, marking the launch of Kia India’s second mass-market electric SUV. Customers can reserve the SUV online or through authorized dealerships, while the official price announcement is expected later this month. The new electric SUV combines long driving range, advanced technology, and ownership benefits to strengthen Kia’s EV lineup.

Battery, Performance, and Driving Range

The Kia Syros EV Bookings Open announcement brings two battery options. The Extended Range model features a 51.4 kWh liquid-cooled NMC battery with an IP67 rating, producing 171 PS and 255 Nm of torque.

It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and delivers a segment-leading 526 km ARAI-certified MIDC range. Meanwhile, the 42 kWh Standard Range variant offers a claimed 443 km range, with some variants rated at 404 km.

Fast Charging and Connected EV Ecosystem

The SUV supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes, while a battery-conditioning system maintains optimal temperatures during fast charging. A 10.8 kW AC onboard charger enables quicker home charging.

Through the K-Charge ecosystem, drivers can access more than 20,300 charging points across 23 charging networks using a single wallet within the MyKia app. The EV also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality for powering external appliances.

Features, Safety, and Ownership Benefits

The Kia Syros EV Bookings Open campaign covers seven variants, including HTK, HTK+, HTX, and X-Line trims. Highlights include a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a built-in dashcam, and a 16-liter front frunk. Safety includes 25 protection features, such as six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and Level 2 ADAS with 16 autonomous driving functions.

Kia also offers a 15-year lifetime high-voltage battery warranty, Assured Buyback, and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plans starting from ₹3.3 per km, making long-term EV ownership more affordable. With Kia Syros EV Bookings Open, the company aims to attract buyers seeking range, technology, and ownership confidence.
