India’s electric mobility ecosystem received a major boost as Bhago Mobility ties up with HMSI & HEID to launch an integrated electric two-wheeler platform for urban mobility workers. Announced on February 12, 2026, this strategic tripartite partnership brings together the strengths of Bhago Mobility, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), and Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID).
The initiative aims to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption among delivery partners, ride-hailing drivers, and last-mile logistics workers—segments that form the backbone of India’s urban transport economy.

Core Components of the Partnership
The collaboration clearly defines roles for each partner:
HMSI – Supplying High-Performance EVs
HMSI will provide electric two-wheelers, including the Activa e:, specifically engineered for high-utilisation commercial operations. With Honda’s manufacturing and engineering expertise, these vehicles are built to withstand daily, intensive use while ensuring safety and efficiency.
HEID – Enabling Near-Instant Battery Swapping
HEID will power the energy backbone of the platform through its advanced battery-swapping infrastructure. This system enables near-instant battery replacement, eliminating long charging downtimes and allowing drivers to remain operational with minimal interruptions.
Bhago Mobility – Technology & Operations
Bhago Mobility will manage the proprietary tech platform that integrates services such as background verification, roadside assistance, compliance management, and performance analytics. This digital ecosystem helps drivers optimise routes, monitor productivity, and potentially increase earnings.
Subscription-Based, Worker-Centric Model
When Bhago Mobility ties up with HMSI & HEID, the result is more than just vehicle deployment—it’s a complete mobility solution. The platform operates on a bundled subscription model that includes:
- Access to electric two-wheelers
- Battery-swapping services
- Maintenance and compliance support
- Technology-enabled performance tracking
This approach removes high upfront acquisition costs, one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption. It also addresses maintenance concerns and regulatory complexities faced by urban mobility workers.
The initiative claims it can boost worker earnings by over 20% through improved uptime and operational efficiency.
Focus on Inclusivity and Workforce Growth
Beyond operational efficiency, the partnership also promotes women’s participation in logistics through targeted training and support systems. As Aditya Goyal, Managing Director of Bhago Mobility, highlighted, urban mobility challenges require collaborative solutions combining people, technology, and infrastructure.
Similarly, HMSI leadership emphasised that integrating the Activa e with HEID’s swapping network will deliver productivity-enhancing solutions that minimise downtime.
Rollout Plan and Future Expansion
Operations have already begun in Delhi and Bengaluru, with a nationwide rollout planned over the next three years. As the battery-swapping network expands to additional cities, the impact is expected to scale significantly.
With Bhago Mobility’s ties up with HMSI & HEID, India moves a step closer to a smarter, more inclusive, and economically viable electric mobility future.
