The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has taken another major step towards building a strong electric mobility ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh. Yeida Allots 20000 Sq Metre Plot to Neenjas Electric in Sector 8D, marking a significant boost for EV component manufacturing near the upcoming Noida International Airport.
This strategic allotment reflects YEIDA’s long-term vision of transforming the Yamuna Expressway region into a hub for electric vehicles, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing.
Yeida Allots 20000 Sq Metre Plot to Neenjas Electric: Project Overview
YEIDA has issued a Letter of Intent to Neenjas Electric for a 20,000 square metre industrial plot located in Sector 8D. The letter was formally handed over by YEIDA Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh to Neenjas Electric Managing Director Vineet Gupta.
The upcoming manufacturing facility will focus on producing on-board EV chargers and solar power banks. These products are designed to support two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles, strengthening India’s domestic capabilities in high-capacity power electronics and renewable energy storage.
Strategic Location Near Noida International Airport
Sector 8D offers a strong logistical advantage due to its proximity to the Noida International Airport and direct connectivity to major expressways. This location ensures efficient movement of raw materials and finished products, making it ideal for EV and allied manufacturing units.
Officials emphasized that such infrastructure advantages are key to attracting investment and creating an integrated EV manufacturing cluster along the Yamuna Expressway.
Investment, Technology, and Employment Impact
The project is expected to involve an investment of approximately ₹169 crore. Neenjas Electric plans to develop high IP-rated onboard chargers and advanced solar power bank systems specifically tailored for Indian operating and climatic conditions.
As Yeida Allots 20000 Sq Metre Plot to Neenjas Electric, the initiative is also expected to generate significant local employment and support the development of a robust domestic supply chain for EV components.
YEIDA’s Vision for Clean Mobility
YEIDA has been consistently promoting the Yamuna Expressway region as a center for electric mobility, renewable energy, and clean manufacturing. According to officials, projects like this align with India’s clean energy transition goals while boosting regional industrial growth.
In conclusion, Yeida Allots 20000 Sq Metre Plot to Neenjas Electric is not just a land allotment, but a strategic move that reinforces the region’s position as a future-ready EV manufacturing destination.
