The model combines long-range capability, premium cabin technology, flexible storage, and advanced driver-assistance hardware. Xpeng will officially launch the Mona L05 on October 29, 2026, as it strengthens its fourth-quarter EV sales push this month.

The Xpeng Mona L05 starts at 169,800 yuan, offers BEV and EREV versions, and officially launches in China on October 29, 2026.

Key highlights:

  • Starting price: 169,800 yuan
  • Top pre-sale price: 191,800 yuan
  • Official launch: October 29, 2026
  • Body style: Mid-size five-seat SUV
  • Powertrains: BEV and EREV

Bold Design, Big Cargo Space

The Mona L05 measures 4,870 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, and 1,636 mm tall, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase. Its design features Starship-inspired lighting, frameless doors, sporty wheels, and distinctive brake-caliper detailing. The rear uses a full-width Star Ring taillight with more than 300 LEDs.

Practicality is a major selling point. The rear boot offers 702 liters, expanding to 1,913 liters when the rear seats are folded. BEV variants also offer a 102-litre front trunk.

Tech-Rich Cabin and AI Computing

Inside, Xpeng equips the SUV with a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, 26.8-inch W-HUD, panoramic roof, and multiple accessory mounting points. Front seats support heating, ventilation, and massage, while the passenger seat adds a zero-gravity mode. Rear occupants get heated seating, privacy glass, a folding table, an entertainment display, and under-seat storage.

Ultra SE variants use two Turing AI chips delivering 1,500 TOPS, supporting Xpeng’s second-generation VLA driver-assistance architecture.

BEV and EREV Range

Xpeng Mona L05 EV Pre-Sales Open with an electric lineup led by a rear-mounted 183 kW motor. Official information lists up to 635 km of CLTC range for the BEV, while the EREV provides up to 310 km of electric-only range and 1,310 km combined.

Charging is another key advantage. Xpeng says the BEV can recharge from 10% to 80% in 19.1 minutes using 3C charging, while the EREV can complete the same charging window in 14.7 minutes. The SUV was developed to global standards and tested across 65 markets worldwide.

The Mona series has surpassed 350,000 cumulative deliveries in two years. With the Xpeng Mona L05 EV Pre-Sales Open before the October launch, the SUV is expected to play a major role in Xpeng’s push toward more than 60,000 monthly deliveries during Q4 2026.
