CHARGEZONE Secures $1B in EV Charging Contracts across intercity electric buses, trucks, and commercial car fleets, giving the company visibility into long-term charging demand. The cumulative value exceeds $1 billion, or approximately Rs 10,500 crore.

These agreements are expected to support more than 15,000 electric vehicles daily. By securing demand before deploying infrastructure, CHARGEZONE can select locations strategically, improve asset utilization, and build stations where energy consumption is predictable.

1,000 Supercharging Stations Planned

CHARGEZONE Secures $1B in EV Charging Contracts as it prepares to install 1,000 supercharging stations along key national highway corridors. The expansion will add 180 MW, increasing the company’s total network capacity from 120 MW to 300 MW.

Once fully deployed, the network is projected to deliver approximately 700 GWh of energy annually and handle over 15,000 charging sessions each day. Average network utilization is expected to rise from the current 14 percent to about 30 percent.

Financing Backs Expansion

To fund the rollout, CHARGEZONE has secured $25 million, or Rs 250 crore, in debt financing from Indian banks. It also plans to raise another $100 million during 2026–27. The capital will support supercharging stations, microgrid infrastructure, energy-management technology, and wider network expansion.

CHARGEZONE secured $1B in EV Charging Contracts at a time when charging businesses increasingly depend on delivered energy and consistent charger usage, not simply installation numbers. Founder and CEO Kartikey Hariyani said utilization and energy sales will define industry scale.

Why the Contracts Matter

CFO Manish Madhogaria noted that visible demand is crucial in this capital-intensive sector. These agreements enable more selective investment in assets with clearer revenue potential. The plan could strengthen highway charging availability while accelerating fleet electrification across India’s commercial transport sector.
