Revolt RVX Launched in India with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.30 lakh, making it one of the most competitive performance-oriented electric motorcycles in the country. The effective starting price drops to ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom) after the PM E-DRIVE incentive, while buyers in Delhi can benefit from the State EV Policy 2.0, reducing the price to an impressive ₹94,990 (ex-showroom).
Positioned between the RV BlazeX and the outgoing RV400, the new RVX replaces the long-serving flagship model with significant improvements in performance, battery technology, ride quality, and connected features. Designed primarily for young urban commuters, the motorcycle offers sporty styling and practical usability for everyday riding.
Battery, Charging, and Certified Range
One of the biggest highlights after the Revolt RVX Launched in India announcement is its 3.24 kWh removable Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery pack. Since the battery can be detached completely, owners can conveniently charge it indoors at home or even in an office, eliminating the need for dedicated parking with charging infrastructure.
The electric motorcycle delivers an IDC-certified range of up to 160 km on a single charge. Charging options are equally practical, with 27A fast charging taking the battery from 0 to 80% in approximately 80 minutes, while a regular 10A home charger completes a full charge in around 3.5 hours.
Powerful Mid-Drive Motor and Improved Performance
The RVX introduces a completely new powertrain featuring a 5.3 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) mounted in the middle of the chassis. Unlike the previous hub-motor setup, the new mid-drive motor offers improved efficiency and better weight distribution.
The motorcycle generates 230 Nm of peak torque at the rear wheel, accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 90 km/h using the newly developed Boost Mode. Revolt has also replaced the belt-drive system with a chain final drive, making maintenance simpler and more affordable through local workshops.
Ride Modes, Features, and Availability
Following the Revolt RVX Launched in India announcement, the motorcycle stands out with an extensive list of premium features. It gets a 3.5-inch IP67-rated PMVA colour digital display with Bluetooth connectivity for call and message alerts.
Riders can choose between Eco (44 km/h), City (65 km/h), Sport (80 km/h), and Boost (90 km/h) riding modes. The RVX also offers geofencing, vehicle tracking, keyless ignition, an immobilizer, OTA software updates, Hill Hold Assist, Reverse Mode, Walk Assist, and Revolt’s signature soundbox that simulates multiple engine exhaust notes.
The suspension setup includes Upside-Down (USD) front forks, a rear monoshock, and dual disc brakes with Combined Braking System (CBS) for enhanced handling and safety.
The Revolt RVX, launched in India, is now available through more than 200 Revolt dealerships across the country, with customer deliveries expected to begin by the end of July 2026. It will compete directly against rivals such as the Oben Rorr EVO and Ola Roadster X, strengthening competition in India’s fast-growing electric motorcycle segment.
