VinFast VF6 and VF7 India Launch highlights: Vietnamese automaker VinFast has officially launched its highly anticipated electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in the Indian market. Both models are locally assembled at VinFast’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with the VF7 being the first model to roll off the production line. Bookings for both models are already open, either online or at VinFast dealerships, with a token amount of ₹21,000. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly.
VinFast VF6: Midsize EV with Stylish Design
The VF6 enters India’s midsize EV segment, competing against the Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric. Its design is modern and sporty, featuring a closed-off grille, vertically stacked triangular LED projector headlights, flush-mounted roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, integrated rear spoiler, and wraparound LED taillights connected by a full-width LED light bar. It also comes with a rear skid plate and body cladding for added style.
