Tata Nexon EV with ADAS Launched: Tata Motors has once again raised the bar in India’s electric vehicle segment by launching the Nexon EV with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The new variants, equipped with Level 2 ADAS technology, promise to deliver enhanced safety, comfort, and a premium driving experience. With prices starting at ₹17.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the Nexon EV has become one of the most feature-loaded electric SUVs in the country.

Tata Nexon EV Variants and Pricing

The ADAS suite is available exclusively on the Empowered Plus A 45 trim, built around the larger 45 kWh battery pack. Pricing details are as follows:

  • Empowered Plus A 45: ₹17.29 lakh
  • Empowered Plus A 45 #Dark: ₹17.49 lakh
  • Empowered Plus A 45 Red #Dark: ₹17.49 lakh

Compared to the standard Empowered Plus variant (₹16.99 lakh), the ADAS-equipped version costs around ₹30,000 more, while the #Dark editions demand a premium of ₹20,000.

Tata Nexon EV ADAS Features

The Nexon EV’s new Level 2 ADAS suite introduces a host of intelligent safety technologies designed to prevent accidents and assist drivers in challenging conditions. Key features include:

The 45 kWh battery pack powers the ADAS variants, delivering an ARAI-certified range of 489 km. In real-world driving, it offers between 350–370 km on a single charge. The motor produces 149 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque, ensuring a smooth and responsive drive. Fast charging from 20% to 80% takes just 40 minutes, while a quick 15-minute charge adds up to 150 km of range.

Tata Nexon EV Premium Design and Features

The #Dark editions bring a striking all-black theme inside and out, featuring leatherette bolstered seats, a sleek cabin finish, and a distinctive digital interface for the infotainment and instrument cluster.

In addition to ADAS, Tata has introduced rear window sunshades and ambient lighting to further elevate passenger comfort. Existing premium features such as a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL audio, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and V2V/V2L charging capabilities continue to be offered.

The Nexon EV maintains its 5-star Bharat NCAP crash safety rating, making it one of the safest electric SUVs available in India. Adding further confidence for buyers, Tata offers a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner, strengthening its long-term value proposition.
