V-Green Indonesia and PT HK Realtindo (HKR) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop an integrated electric vehicle charging hub in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, supporting Indonesia’s push to expand EV infrastructure. V-Green and HKR to install large-scale EV charging hub in Jakarta
The agreement, finalized on August 10, 2026, will see HKR lease an 8,747-square-meter site to V-Green Indonesia. The facility is scheduled to begin operations in October 2026 and could be replicated at other HKR properties.
36 EV Chargers and 20 Battery-Swapping Stations
The planned facility will combine 36 EV chargers with 20 battery-swapping stations for electric motorbikes. At full capacity, the hub will serve 56 electric cars and 220 electric motorbikes simultaneously.
V-Green and HKR will install a large-scale EV charging hub serving private owners, ride-sharing drivers, and commercial fleet operators. Dedicated parking areas will be available for commercial fleets.
The Kemayoran facility will also operate as a convenient mobility stop. Food outlets and cafes will be included, while rooftop solar panels will help provide renewable electricity.
Expanding Indonesia’s EV Charging Network
V-Green and HKR will install a large-scale EV charging hub as part of a broader strategy to unlock land assets and expand charging infrastructure. V-Green said the partnership allows landowners to generate value and revenue while supporting sustainable transportation.

The project follows an April 2026 MoU between V-Green and state-owned construction company Hutama Karya Group, HKR’s parent company. Under that agreement, the companies agreed to explore EV charging hubs on Hutama Karya’s land assets and develop charging infrastructure across 29 rest areas on the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road.
Supporting Long-Distance EV Travel
V-Green and HKR to install a large-scale EV charging hub strategy could strengthen Indonesia’s highway charging network, making longer-distance electric travel more practical. The planned rest areas aim to provide reliable charging access along key highway corridors.
V-Green, originally spun off from VinFast’s charging division, is also offering incentives for VinFast customers. VinFast car owners can receive free charging, while VinFast electric-motorcycle users can receive one year of complimentary battery swaps, limited to 20 swaps per month.
Together, the Jakarta hub and planned highway infrastructure could accelerate EV adoption by combining charging, battery swapping, renewable energy, and essential customer services in a single expanding network across Indonesia’s rapidly growing electric mobility ecosystem overall.
