Tata Power Company Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEM) have officially inaugurated the High-speed TATA EV MegaCharger hub at iLabs Centre Private Limited in Hitec City, Hyderabad. The new ultra-fast charging station marks Telangana’s first MegaCharger Hub and is expected to strengthen the state’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem by offering faster, more reliable, and round-the-clock charging services.
The facility has been developed to meet the growing demand for EV charging among private car owners, corporate commuters, commercial fleet operators, ride-hailing services, and intercity travelers. With Hyderabad witnessing rapid EV adoption, the High-speed TATA EV MegaCharger hub is designed to reduce charging time while improving convenience for users.

Advanced Charging Infrastructure with 360 kW Capacity
The newly launched charging hub comes with a total installed charging capacity of 360 kW. It is equipped with three 120 kW ultra-fast charging dispensers, allowing up to six electric vehicles to charge simultaneously. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the station ensures uninterrupted charging support for EV users at any time.
Users can also manage and monitor their charging sessions through the Tata Power EZ Charge App, which already has more than 500,000 registered users across India.
Strengthening India’s Expanding EV Network
The inauguration of the High-speed TATA EV MegaCharger hub further expands Tata Power’s nationwide EV charging infrastructure. The company currently operates more than 750 TATA.EV Mega charging points across major cities and highway corridors.
In addition, Tata Power’s public EV charging network includes over 6,500 charging points across more than 700 cities and towns. The company has also installed over 230,000 home chargers through partnerships with leading automotive OEMs, supporting convenient residential charging across the country.
Key Dignitaries Attend the Launch
The inauguration ceremony, held on June 26, 2026, was attended by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, and Gopalakrishnan VC, Director of the Automotive and EV Sector, Government of Karnataka, along with senior representatives from Tata Power and Tata Motors.
The launch of the High-speed TATA EV MegaCharger hub represents another significant milestone in India’s transition toward cleaner mobility by delivering faster, smarter, and more accessible charging infrastructure for the country’s rapidly growing electric vehicle community.
