TVS Launches King Kargo: TVS Motor Company has taken a major step in the electric mobility segment with the launch of the TVS King Kargo HD EV, a purpose-built electric three-wheeler designed for urban and semi-urban logistics. Priced at ₹3.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the new model combines technology, safety, and performance to address the growing demand for efficient last-mile delivery solutions.

Purpose-Built for Urban Logistics

The King Kargo HD EV is engineered to meet the requirements of businesses that rely on cargo three-wheelers for daily operations. With the rise of e-commerce, food delivery, and urban freight movement, the need for cleaner, smarter, and more cost-effective vehicles has increased. TVS aims to fill this gap by offering a vehicle that delivers reliability along with advanced technology.

Segment-First Features

What sets the King Kargo HD EV apart are its segment-first innovations. It comes equipped with LED headlamps and tail lamps to ensure better visibility during night deliveries. The vehicle also features a spacious cabin with rolling windows, stylish door trims for improved ventilation, and twin-axis mirrors that enhance driver visibility in crowded city traffic.

Another highlight is the Power Gear Mode, which provides extra torque for carrying heavy loads, making it a practical solution for businesses that require higher payload capacity. These features are designed not only for functionality but also to improve driver comfort and safety during long working hours.

India’s First Bluetooth-Enabled Cargo Three-Wheeler

The King Kargo HD EV stands out as India’s first Bluetooth-enabled cargo three-wheeler. It is powered by TVS SmartXonnect™, which offers 26 smart features to improve vehicle performance and driver convenience. This includes digital connectivity, vehicle diagnostics, and alerts that make operations smoother.

In addition, the vehicle integrates seamlessly with the TVS Connect Fleet platform, a web-based system that provides 31 advanced tools for fleet operators. These tools include real-time vehicle tracking, remote asset control, intelligent dashboards, alerts, and detailed reports. Such integration helps businesses optimise delivery routes, improve uptime, and reduce operational costs.

Market Availability and Expansion

In its initial phase, the King Kargo HD EV will be available in Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, and Bengaluru—regions with high demand for urban logistics. Recognising the varied energy preferences of businesses, TVS also plans to launch a CNG variant of the King Kargo HD by the end of 2025. This move will provide greater flexibility for companies that may prefer conventional fuel options alongside EVs.

TVS’s Broader Vision

At the launch, Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility at TVS Motor Company, described the new vehicle as a transformative step in the evolution of cargo mobility. He said, “The launch of the TVS King Kargo HD represents a transformative moment in the evolution of cargo mobility, aligned with our broader ‘Re-Imagine 2030’ vision. It sets new benchmarks in smart features, load capacity, comfort, and safety.”

Conclusion: TVS Launches King Kargo HD EV 3-wheeler

With the King Kargo HD EV, TVS Motor Company is setting new benchmarks in the electric cargo three-wheeler segment. By blending advanced technology, enhanced safety, and superior load-handling capability, the company is addressing the rising needs of urban logistics operators. The launch reinforces TVS’s commitment to sustainable, smart, and efficient mobility solutions, paving the way for a cleaner and more connected future in last-mile delivery.
