Tata Motors has strengthened its electric commercial vehicle portfolio with the introduction of the all-new Intra EV Pickup, priced from ₹11.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Designed on the proven Intra platform and re-engineered on a dedicated EV architecture, this model targets cargo and logistics operators seeking lower operating costs and higher productivity. With the Tata Intra EV pickup launched, the company aims to accelerate electrification in India’s small commercial vehicle segment.

High Payload, Strong Motor & Long Driving Range

Built for demanding transport needs, the Intra EV offers an impressive 1,750 kg payload capacity along with a 10 ft 2 in load body, making it suitable for e-commerce, FMCG distribution, dairy supply, LPG deliveries, cold-chain requirements, and waste management applications.

Powering the pickup is a 72 kW electric motor generating 230 Nm of torque, ensuring strong pulling power even with heavy loads. A 23% gradeability allows the EV to climb inclines with ease, supporting urban as well as intercity operations.

Energy is stored in an IP67-rated 28.2 kWh battery pack, delivering a certified 211 km range per charge. With the Tata Intra EV pickup launched, Tata Motors has emphasized durability and range reliability for daily fleet use.

Fast Charging for Reduced Downtime

The Intra EV supports CCS2 fast charging, enabling a 10–80% charge in approximately 55 minutes. This rapid charging capability minimises downtime and increases daily productivity, especially for commercial operators who require multiple trips.

Comfortable Cabin & Driver-Friendly Features

Inside, the pickup features a walk-through cabin, car-like ergonomics, and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) to reduce fatigue during long shifts. The silent EV drivetrain further enhances comfort for the driver.

Safety is also a priority, with a dedicated electronic braking system and three-level regenerative braking that improves control while helping recover additional range.

Smart Connectivity & Extensive Support Network

The Tata Fleet Edge telematics platform provides live tracking, vehicle health insights, and predictive maintenance alerts—critical tools for fleet owners managing multiple vehicles.

Buyers also get access to 25,000+ public charging points, over 200 dedicated EV service centers, financing support from banks and NBFCs, and a 6-year/2 lakh km battery warranty.

With the Tata Intra EV pickup launched, Tata Motors continues to push its EV strategy forward, offering a strong value proposition for commercial fleet operators. This launch marks another milestone as demand rises for cleaner, more efficient transport solutions.
