In a major push towards sustainable transportation, PepsiCo India has launched a dedicated ‘EV Green Corridor’ on the Kosi–Pataudi route, connecting Uttar Pradesh to Haryana. Announced in March 2026, this initiative aligns with the company’s global “PepsiCo Positive (pep+)” sustainability vision, aimed at reducing carbon emissions across its supply chain.
Key Features of the EV Green Corridor
The newly launched corridor is developed in collaboration with Kalyani Powertrain Ltd and will operate with eight 32-foot single-axle ‘Re-Powered’ electric container trucks. These trucks are expected to cover nearly 4.8 lakh electric kilometres annually, significantly lowering fuel dependency and emissions.
To support smooth operations, the project includes dedicated charging infrastructure, optimized logistics routes, and customized electric freight vehicles. This ecosystem ensures efficiency and reliability for long-haul electric transportation.

Strengthening Sustainable Logistics
Beyond the corridor, PepsiCo India is actively transforming its logistics network. The company has already converted over 400 distributor-linked vehicles into electric three- and four-wheelers, helping reduce emissions at the last-mile delivery stage.
Additionally, in the National Capital Region (NCR), more than 80 CNG-powered vehicles have been deployed through logistics partners. These combined efforts highlight how PepsiCo India is taking a multi-pronged approach to sustainability.
Leadership Vision and Industry Impact
According to CEO Jagrut Kotecha, this initiative reflects PepsiCo India’s commitment to building a cleaner, more efficient, and future-ready supply chain. Supporting this vision, Kalyani Powertrain’s Managing Director, Pankaj Sonalkar, emphasized that such collaborations demonstrate the practical integration of electric mobility in commercial logistics.
A Scalable Model for the Future
The Kosi–Pataudi EV Green Corridor is not just a standalone project—it is designed as a scalable model for electric freight movement in India. By combining advanced EV technology with strong infrastructure and partnerships, PepsiCo India is setting a benchmark for green logistics in the country.
