Mahindra has recently updated its electric vehicle (EV) charging policy, offering greater flexibility to customers purchasing the BE 6 and XEV 9e SUVs. Previously, acquiring a company-supplied charger was mandatory with these EVs. However, under the revised policy, customers can now opt out of purchasing the charger if they meet any of the following conditions:

  1. No Provision for Private Charger: If your home or office lacks the infrastructure to install a private charger, you are exempted from buying the company-supplied charger.

  2. Existing Compatible Charger: If you already own a charger that aligns with Mahindra’s safety standards, you can choose not to purchase an additional charger.

  3. Multiple Vehicle Ownership: For families purchasing two or more Mahindra electric SUVs, a single charging point may suffice, eliminating the need for multiple chargers.

For customers who do not meet these criteria, Mahindra continues to offer two charger options:

  • 7.2kW AC Charger: Priced at ₹50,000.

  • 11.2kW AC Charger: Priced at ₹75,000.
