Porsche Cayenne Electric Launches in India at Rs 1.77 Crore

Porsche India has expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the all-electric Cayenne SUV in India. The luxury electric SUV makes its country-wide debut in Mumbai, adding a new flagship nameplate to Porsche’s growing EV range. Porsche Cayenne Electric Launches in India with two variants, combining high performance, Long-Range Capability, and premium technology. Prices start at Rs 1.77 crore (ex-showroom), while the range-topping Cayenne Turbo Electric costs Rs 2.28 crore.

The new electric models will be sold alongside the petrol-powered Cayenne, giving customers a choice between conventional and electric powertrains. Deliveries of both electric variants begin September 30.

The Cayenne Electric starts at Rs 1.77 crore, while the Cayenne Turbo Electric costs Rs 2.28 crore, ex-showroom. Both use an 113 kWh battery and 800V PPE architecture.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Price and Variants

The new Cayenne electric range is available in two variants:

  • Cayenne Electric: Rs 1.77 crore, ex-showroom
  • Cayenne Turbo Electric: Rs 2.28 crore, ex-showroom
  • Deliveries: From September 30
  • Battery: 113 kWh
  • Platform: Volkswagen Group PPE architecture

The standard Cayenne Electric produces up to 442 hp with Launch Control and 835 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and offers a claimed range of up to 642 km.

The Cayenne Turbo Electric raises performance considerably, delivering up to 1,156 PS and 1,500 Nm. It completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.5 seconds, while its claimed range stands at up to 623 km.

800V Architecture Enables 390kW Charging

Porsche Cayenne Electric Launches in India on Volkswagen Group’s premium 800V PPE platform. Both variants feature a large 113 kWh battery pack and support DC fast charging at up to 390 kW.

According to Porsche, charging from 10% to 80% can take just 16 minutes under suitable conditions. A 10-minute charging session can add up to 324 km of claimed driving range.

Premium Cabin Packed With Technology

The electric Cayenne gets a technology-focused cabin featuring a curved 14.5-inch OLED central infotainment screen and a 14.25-inch digital driver display. Buyers can also opt for a 14.9-inch passenger entertainment screen.

Other highlights include:

  • Augmented Reality head-up display
  • Four-zone climate control
  • 20-speaker Harman Kardon sound system
  • Adaptive air suspension
  • Rear-axle steering as standard

These features combine with Porsche’s performance-oriented chassis technology to enhance comfort, handling, and high-speed stability.

Porsche Expands Its India EV Portfolio

Porsche Cayenne Electric Launches in India as the third all-electric model in the company’s Indian portfolio, following the Taycan and Macan Electric. The company will continue offering petrol-powered Cayenne models alongside the new EVs.

Ashutosh Dixit, head of Porsche India, said the Cayenne is entering an important new era with electrification while retaining Porsche’s performance character.

With the standard Cayenne Electric and flagship Turbo Electric available from launch, Porsche is broadening its electric SUV offering for Indian luxury-car buyers.
