Kia has marked a major Kerala EV milestone after its authorized dealership, Incheon Kia, delivered 150 Kia Syros EVs at one venue on August 17, 2026. The mass-delivery event earned Incheon Motors Private Limited recognition from the India Book of Records for the “Maximum Single-Model Electric Car Sold by a Dealer in a Day.” The 150 cars were arranged in an Onam Pookalam display before being handed over and flagged off in a convoy.
The milestone comes amid strong Syros EV demand. Incheon Kia said bookings have crossed 650 units, with the 150 vehicles representing the first major customer batch. Kia India also noted that total Kia deliveries in Kerala reached 500 units on the same day.

240kW Charger and ₹10 Crore Solar Push
Incheon Kia is also expanding its EV infrastructure. Its flagship Nettoor facility now has a 240 kW DC ultra-fast charger, capable of charging a compatible premium EV to 80% in under 20 minutes.
The dealership has committed ₹10 crore to expand rooftop solar capacity from 250 kW to 2 MW by the end of 2026. The system is expected to generate 24 lakh units of clean electricity annually and cut nearly 1,900 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. Incheon Kia aims to eventually power its network with green energy.
Kia Syros EV: Price, Battery and Range
Kia Delivers 150 Syros EVs in a Single Day in Kerala as the new electric model gains traction. Launched in July 2026, the Syros EV is priced from ₹13.49 lakh to ₹19.99 lakh. Its Battery-as-a-Service option brings the entry price down to ₹7.99 lakh, plus ₹3.30 per km.
The EV is offered with 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs, with a claimed range of up to 526 km.
Kia Delivers 150 Syros EVs in a Single Day in Kerala highlights the state’s growing acceptance of electric mobility. Gwanggu Lee said sustainability remains a Kia priority, while M.A.M. Babu Moopan highlighted Kerala’s response to cleaner transportation.
