Vietnamese automaker VinFast is gearing up for a major entry into the Indian market, and one of its most important products will lead the charge: the VinFast VF MPV 7, launching in India this April. With over 100 dealerships planned across the country and a strong push toward electric mobility, the brand is preparing for a full-scale rollout rather than a cautious start.
Launch & Booking Details
The VinFast VF MPV 7, launching in India on April 15, 2026, will mark the company’s official debut in the country. Pricing will also be revealed on the same day. Bookings, however, have already begun from April 2, 2026, through the official VinFast India portal and authorised dealerships. The MPV will be offered under a dual-branding strategy—VF MPV 7 for private buyers and Limo Green for fleet operators. Expected pricing is projected between ₹19–25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Design & Dimensions
At 4,740 mm long with a 2,840 mm wheelbase, the MPV sits firmly in the large family segment. The exterior is clean, simple, and purpose-driven, focusing on practicality rather than aggressive styling. With 19-inch wheels and 184 mm ground clearance, the design emphasizes real-world usability. VinFast may further fine-tune the suspension and clearance for Indian roads.
Electric Powertrain
Powering the MPV is a 60.13 kWh usable battery, capable of fast charging from 10–70% in around 30 minutes. The drive modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—along with multiple regenerative braking levels, make the vehicle adaptable to varying traffic conditions. With a 0–100 km/h time under 10 seconds, performance is balanced, predictable, and suited for daily family use.
The VinFast VF MPV 7, launching in India, focuses on comfort-first driving, evident from its stable high-speed behavior, light steering, and soft suspension setup.
Spacious Interior
Inside, the MPV scores highest in space and comfort. All three rows are usable, with the third row designed for adults—an important advantage for Indian families. Features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a multifunction steering wheel, leatherette upholstery, and multiple USB ports. Material quality is a mix of premium surfaces and some hard plastics.
Safety & Hardware
While ADAS is not offered initially, the MPV is ADAS-ready for future updates. Standard safety features include ABS, EBD, brake assist, ESC, traction control, all-disc brakes, hill start assist, and TPMS.
Who Is It For?
The VinFast VF MPV 7, launching in India, will appeal to large families, commercial operators, and buyers transitioning to EVs without compromising space or comfort. It prioritizes practicality, consistency, and everyday usability over flashy tech or performance thrills.
