GAC Aion has officially confirmed that its all-new compact electric SUV, the GAC Aion N60 EV with 610 km range, will enter pre-sales on April 16, 2026. The model has already opened for blind bookings and is expected to be priced under 150,000 yuan (approx. 21,700 USD). What makes this SUV even more appealing is that premium features like LiDAR, a zero-gravity co-pilot seat, and advanced driver assistance will be standard across all variants.

Striking Exterior Crafted by a Legendary Designer

Designed under the direction of Benoit Jacob, the creative mind behind the BMW i3 and i8, the N60 stands out with its futuristic styling. A through-type LED light bar, rectangular headlamps, and an illuminated logo dominate the front fascia. The SUV measures 4,615 mm (L) × 1,860/1,883 mm (W) × 1,673 mm (H) with a 2,775 mm wheelbase, offering a strong road presence. Buyers can choose from seven exterior colors, including Star Ring Silver, Soft Gold, Clear Sky Blue, and Night Shadow Black.

Premium Cabin with Smart Tech Everywhere

Inside, the GAC Aion N60 EV with a 610 km range offers three interior themes—Soft Light White, Caramel Warm Velvet, and Morning Mist Cool Grey. A large 15.6-inch 2.5K display powered by the ADiGO 6.0 smart cockpit system supports AI voice, Huawei Nebula Space, and seamless Apple/Android connectivity. Practicality is enhanced by a 2.38 m² panoramic sunroof, a 447 L–1,947 L trunk, and 35 storage spaces.

Comfort and Intelligent Driving as Standard

The highlight remains its zero-gravity co-pilot seat, while the front seats add heating, ventilation, massage, and memory functions. Rear passengers get adjustable backrests from 117° to 137°. The GAC Aion N60 EV, with a 610 km range, is equipped with 4D millimetre-wave radar, LiDAR, and high-level intelligent driving assistance backed by WeRide.

Performance: Efficiency Meets Range

Powered by an amorphous alloy silicon carbide drive system, the SUV delivers 165 kW (221 hp) and consumes just 11.7 kWh/100 km. Supported by GAC Aion’s advanced battery tech, the GAC Aion N60 EV with 610 km range offers a remarkable pure-electric capability, reinforced by a five-link independent rear suspension for a stable ride.
