South Korea’s leading EV charging infrastructure operator, Chaevi, has taken a major step into the North American market. In a strategic move aimed at accelerating Canada’s shift toward high-speed electric mobility, Chaevi partners with Foreseeson to deploy one of the nation’s most advanced ultra-fast EV charging networks.
A Strategic Collaboration to Power Canada’s EV Future
Under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed in March 2026, Chaevi partners with Foreseeson to combine their strengths and rapidly scale EV charging infrastructure across Canada. Chaevi will supply cutting-edge 400 kW ultra-fast chargers, while Foreseeson will oversee site development, installation, ownership, and daily operations.
The rollout will begin in British Columbia, which will serve as the first regional hub before nationwide expansion.

Deployment Roadmap: Scaling from 2026 Onward
Chaevi plans a strong start by supplying 100 charging units in 2026, expanding to 200+ units annually from 2027. With Foreseeson’s established presence and operational capacity in Canada, this partnership is expected to significantly accelerate the availability of high-speed charging across major highways and urban centers.
Foreseeson, founded in 2001, is a respected mid-sized Canadian clean-energy technology company that recorded US$38.1 million in sales in 2025. It has also been recognized among British Columbia’s Top 100 high-growth companies for six consecutive years, reinforcing its credibility as a key partner in this infrastructure expansion.
Advanced Charging Technology Designed for North America
A core highlight of this initiative is the deployment of 400 kW chargers, among the fastest in the world. These chargers can add substantial driving range to EVs within minutes, easing long-distance travel and reducing wait times.
Chaevi’s North American units will be Tesla NACS-compatible while supporting multiple connectors, including CCS1, ensuring seamless access for nearly all EV models.
To optimize costs, the network will integrate energy storage systems (ESS) and proprietary software. This setup is projected to cut monthly peak electricity demand charges by over $1,750 per site.
A No-Upfront-Cost Model to Encourage Rapid Expansion
The project follows a cost-efficient investment model, where Foreseon funds and operates the charging sites. Revenue will be generated through charging fees and carbon credits, making the expansion financially sustainable.
This collaboration marks a major milestone as Chaevi partners with Foreseeson to strengthen its global footprint. With over 10,000 charging ports already operating in South Korea, Chaevi now positions itself as a major contender in North America.
A New Era of Ultra-Fast Charging in Canada
By combining Chaevi’s technological leadership with Foreseeson’s local expertise, the initiative promises to transform Canada’s EV charging landscape. The agreement sets the stage for a nationwide, future-ready charging network—another major step as Chaevi partners with Foreseeson to lead the next wave of clean mobility.
