Xiaomi EV Unveils New Colors for Updated SU7, marking an exciting milestone for the brand as it accelerates into 2026 with a refreshed flagship sedan. The announcement came as Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun outlined two symbolic moments for the company—distributing opening-day red envelopes to employees and revealing the SU7’s striking new color. Calling the refreshed sedan a continued “Dream Car,” Lei expressed confidence that the updated model would power a strong start to the year.
Bold New Exterior: Introducing Capri Blue
The headline addition is Capri Blue, a vibrant new paint option that joins the original Gulf Blue and an already diverse palette. Over the past two years, the SU7 lineup has expanded to include Signature shades like Aqua Blue, Verdant Green, and Mineral Gray, alongside Meteor Blue, Radiant Purple, Basalt Gray, Lava Orange, Pearl White, Diamond Black, and the limited Brilliant Magenta edition.

With Xiaomi EV Unveils New Colors for Updated SU7, the brand reinforces its focus on personalization. Premium buyers can also access bespoke finishes under Xiaomi Custom Service for higher-end models such as the SU7 Ultra, offering exclusive shades like Amethyst Purple and Racing Red.
Beyond color, the 2026 model features a refined front grille and new 20-inch wheels. Tire dimensions now measure 245mm at the front and 265mm at the rear, enhancing grip and stability. Braking performance is upgraded across the range with four-piston fixed calipers as standard, while the Max variant adds Brembo calipers, drilled discs, and low-metallic pads.
Refined Interior and Premium Comfort
Inside, the facelift introduces a new Midnight Black interior option alongside Obsidian Black. The steering wheel has been reshaped, stitching details refined, and more soft-touch materials applied throughout the cabin. A wraparound, three-tier ambient lighting system enhances the premium feel, and updated physical buttons improve usability.
Smarter, Safer, and More Powerful
A major highlight of Xiaomi EV Unveils New Colors for Updated SU7 is the standardization of LiDAR across all trims—addressing earlier hardware gaps. Every model now features the Xiaomi HAD advanced driver-assistance system powered by a 700 TOPS chip.
Safety has also improved, with nine airbags now standard. The steel-aluminum “armor cage” body structure includes 2,200 MPa hot-formed steel door beams and an integrated anti-roll bar.
Performance remains impressive. Built on high-voltage silicon carbide platforms (up to 897V), the Pro variant delivers a remarkable 902 km CLTC range.
Launch Timeline and Pricing
The first demo vehicles arrived on February 13 across 30 stores in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Another 30 stores will begin opening on February 25. Pre-orders are now open in China, with the official launch set for April 2026.
With upgraded technology, enhanced safety, and expanded personalization, Xiaomi EV Unveils New Colors for Updated SU7 signals a confident evolution of Xiaomi’s flagship electric sedan.
